I grew up loving dogs and have always considered them to be more than a best friend. They’re a member of the family! After COVID, I started dog sitting for friends and family members in my free time because it was so fun, and it was a nice break from my full-time job as a copywriter for Walmart’s corporate team. In 2024, I took my love for dogs a step farther and got my own puppy. His name is Yukon, and he’s a lovable goofball with lots of energy. I’ve loved seeing his personality develop over the last two years and having chats with him about what makes him happy (he’s a Pomeranian Husky mix, so he’s always got lots to tell me!) It’s been such a joy to watch him grow into the happy little man that he is today. My goal as a sitter is to give your dog the best care that I can offer. I’ve house sat for dogs that need some senior care (daily medications/specific food requirements), puppies that are just learning to navigate the world, energetic breeds that have high activity requirements, and larger dogs. I love them all and I’d love to offer you peace of mind knowing that your fur baby will be in the best hands should you choose to trust me with their care. ❤️🐾

If you’re looking for a reliable and loving pet sitter- Shannon is the one! She truly loves the dogs she cares for. Our dog, Kona, can be slow to warm up, but she fell in love with Shannon right away. Shannon didn’t just check in on Kona when we needed her—she became the person we trusted most with our dog and was always our first choice for a sitter. We’ve had a hard time finding anyone like her since moving. Shannon has been nothing but wonderful to our Kona girl! Your dog would be in excellent hands with her. Highly recommend!
Shannon is one of the most conscientious and responsible people I know, and anyone who books her through Rover will feel that immediately. She cares for her own dog with a level of attentiveness that sets the bar high—with love, patience, and genuine affection. She’s also completely comfortable handling large, strong breeds with the ability to maintain control of their energy. Above all, she’s dependable. When she commits to caring for someone’s pets, she shows up fully—on time, prepared, and focused on giving each dog the same level of care she gives her own. Anyone who trusts her with their pets will be in excellent hands.
Shannon has watched my dogs many times and is so great with my chihuahua and husky mix. She is extremely reliable and communicative and my dogs are always so excited when she comes over. She is very respectful of our space and always leaves our home cleaner than we left it. Shannon has also been flexible with our schedule and we are so grateful when she can pop in for a quick walk or a check in when we’ve been gone all day. Our dogs love Shannon which makes me feel so much better about leaving them with someone.

Schedule
I’m currently working part-time as a personal trainer trying to build up that business, so I have plenty of available hours for house visits, walks, and playtime.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a fenced in community that is very dog friendly. Your dog will be able to interact with Yukon—who is always looking to make new friends!—and the dogs in the neighborhood if they choose. It’s a great environment for socialization as well as for safety. I have room to crate your dog if needed or they are happy to explore my home and it make it their own as well. 😊 *Please note*: If you are hoping to book me for house sitting on an overnight basis, I will not be able to leave my own dog unattended. He’s absolutely great with other dogs and he loves people as well. I’m more than happy to do a meet and greet to see if it would be a fit for you and your pet, but if this is something you are not comfortable with, please book another sitter for this service.

I want your dog to have the most fun during their time with me. I love playing fun games with them, taking them on walks to explore the neighborhood, or having a relaxing afternoon at the park so they can take in all the scenery and unique smells.
