I work full time less than a mile from my home and have the ability to work remotely as needed as well. I have cameras that I monitor while at work and come home multiple times to let my dogs out already. My work knows how much I love and care for my dogs so leaving at any time to take care of them is not an issue. We go on long walks in the morning and in the evening when the sun begins setting. In the cooler (not cold or freezing weather) seasons, we go on a mid-day walk and on the really pretty days we love to go for as many walks or adventures that we can. My babies usually get 3 20 to 30 minute walks per day, more with beautiful weather.

Safety, trust & environment

I have 2 dogs at home that eat, walk, play and relax on a routine. I have a safe and secure fenced in yard, but it is small. There is a dog park around the corner and lots of walking trails. I take my dogs on "adventures" and they do have seat belts to keep them safe in the car. Your pets would be a part of our family and I would have them on a similar schedule unless directed to do something different by you. I work less than a mile from my home and have cameras all over my house. I am able to be home within 5 minutes or less if needed when I am away. Walks, outside & play time are very dependent on the weather. We don't go outside in lightning at all or if it is raining weather we only go out back for potty breaks and I look at weather apps multiple times a day because I do have a sweet girl that does not handle storms well at all. We have a dog park in the neighborhood and great walking trails. We go on long adventures as much as possible as long as it is not too hot or cold. Paw pad inspections are done with my bare feet on the concreate before my babies are allowed to walk. My sweet girl is older, so Leia is not able to handle the heat like Kylo. I am also very mindful of this. Your babies would be treated as if they were my babies unless there are other things you need me to do that I am currently not doing for my own.

Information Shannon T. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know if there are any health or behavioral needs most importantly. Definitely want to make sure I have the most updated vet you would want to use so I can keep it on the fridge (it's what I do with my dogs and I just feel safe having that information). Then of course their feeding schedule, diet restrictions and how they like to sleep or nap at home. But please let me know anything I did not cover that you need.

A typical day

We currently spend each week on a daily going to the dog park, lots of toy playtime, walking adventures, cuddles, treats, and really any activity depending on your pets needs.

Pet care experience

I am very picky when it comes to the care of my dogs. They have a specific routine and eating schedule. They are my babies and I care for them as I would care for myself. I will absolutely make sure to do the same for your fur babies as well. I am dedicated to making other owners feel safe just the same as I need when I have to be away from my babies.

Sharon has done so amazing with my Cleo, who isn’t very trustworthy of strangers. She easily won over her trust & updated with photos at each drop-in, and made sure she knew everything she needed to know to care for my fur baby. 10/10 recommend!

Shannon is one of the most genuine "animal people" I've ever met. When my family and I needed to travel out of town for several days on short notice she watched our very playful four year old golden retriever, Kimber. We got texts and pictures each day letting us know how she was doing; and when my kids were missing their dog, a quick text got a real time status update. After we had been home for a couple of weeks I walked out with a suitcase. When Kimber saw it she excitedly grabbed her toy and blanket, and ran to the door; she was ready for another stay at Shannon's! If I ever have need of a pet sitter in the future, Shannon will absolutely be my first call.
