I’ve watched many friends’ and family members’ pets over the years, including dogs from Chihuahuas to Swiss mountain dogs, and kitties from kitten-age all the way to seniors! Our dog loves Shannon!
Shannon did a fantastic job watching my dog Peri while we were away for a week. From our initial meet and greet she was so sweet and patient with my dog. My dog is a bit anxious with new people but Shannon was great with her. My dog needs regular medication and Shannon stayed up on all her medications which isn’t always an easy task but so appreciated. She sent us updates and pictures while we were away too which I loved. She went above and beyond, making sure everything was tidy before we got home too. Truly appreciate everything she did, taking such good care of our dog. Would highly recommend her for anyone else needing pet care and would love to have her watch my dog again.
Shannon always does a great job looking after our cats! She’s super communicative and send lots of photos and videos. I can’t imagine a better Rover. We will definitely book her again for any future needs.
This was the best dig sitter I have ever hired. I have two "easy" dogs & one medically fragile elderly dog (3 lbs) who requires meds and syringe-feeding. I always write out copious instructions for the Meet & Greet, and review all aspects of care to ensure a sitter understands the level of care needed. Shannon is a very mature & intelligent young woman. Great critical thinking skills, clean, and she communicated regularly with pics & videos. She played with my dogs, spent time outdoors with them, and they loved her. My fragile dog did really well-- and I had a lot of peace about their care in my absence. Many sitters complete the basic feeding & potty tasks, but Shannon invested time in my dogs. Absolutely recommend her.
Shannon did a fantastic job caring for my 5 year old, long-haired cat. She was attentive, patient and kind with a very shy kitty. She also kept me updated with lots of pictures and messages while I was away! Will definitely be using Shannon again for future trips!

Schedule
I work full time during the week as a nanny, and am looking to fill most of my free time with pet caregiving. I’m looking for nights, weekends, and sporadic weekday opportunities!

While I do not offer pet care in my own home, I provide loving and responsible care in my clients’ homes. I am respectful of boundaries, I’ll always keep an open line of communication with you as the pet owner, and your pet’s safety and happiness are my primary concern!

A typical day
I love to make sure your dog is getting great exercise and expending energy in a healthy way! I’m open to taking your dog for walks in the park, on the greenbelt, and by the river! Always leashed, of course!
