I have over 40 years of experience caring for many kinds of animals including dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, and native wildlife. My journey through life has always involved providing for the needs of animals, plants and people. I have been (and still am) a certified vet assistant, native wildlife rehabilitation specialist, pet-sitter, and animal lover. Throughout my journey, I have learned that kindness, patience, love and empathy are the keys to understanding the natural world around us. Every step along life's path has added knowledge and experience that enables me to nurture the parts of that natural world we choose to include in our lives - from the garden that provides beauty, sustenance and peace to the feathred, furry and scaled critters we choose to be members of our family. I am no longer a part of the mainstream workforce, which allows me the time to focus my energy on your natural world. May our paths cross in happiness.

Thanks, Shannon, for always taking such great care of our older (and sometimes needy) pups! And I especially want to thank you for dealing with the electricity outage with such grace and even helping to work with PG&E and our landlord to get things fixed and the power back on. I can always count on you to do an exceptional job, which lets me go out of town with no worries that my pups are left in great hands!!
Shannon was fabulous with our senior German Shepherd, who has a handful of special needs related to her age. She was responsive kept us updated sent lots of pictures and generally, we felt great having Nala in her care.
Shannon is great! She genuinely cares about the pets she sits!
