Information Shannon T. would like to know about your pet
Breed, sex, age, indoor/outdoor, general temperament, schedule, medications, allergies/dietary restrictions, other special needs, any behavioral issues/quirks (i.e. - digging, escape artist tendencies, any aggression, food stealing or guarding, level of ease (or not) with new people, behavior on walks/leash, etc.). Also their likes and dislikes in human interactions (i.e. - favorite toys/games, being brushed/groomed, fetch/chase a ball, water play, etc.). All breeds accepted.
A typical day
Dog walks could be at the park, the beach, on a nature trail, on a mountain hike, or just around the neighborhood. I like to learn the dog's favorite games or make some up as we go. Cats will tell me exactly what they want, when they want it, and for how long. No guesswork required. The important thing to me is that your pet is as comfortable as possible while you're away so the reunion when you return is a happy one.

Pet care experience
I have over 40 years of experience caring for many kinds of animals including dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, and native wildlife. My journey through life has always involved providing for the needs of animals, plants and people. I have been (and still am) a certified vet assistant, native wildlife rehabilitation specialist, pet-sitter, and animal lover. Throughout my journey, I have learned that kindness, patience, love and empathy are the keys to understanding the natural world around us. Every step along life's path has added knowledge and experience that enables me to nurture the parts of that natural world we choose to include in our lives - from the garden that provides beauty, sustenance and peace to the feathred, furry and scaled critters we choose to be members of our family. I am no longer a part of the mainstream workforce, which allows me the time to focus my energy on your natural world. May our paths cross in happiness. PLEASE NOTE: I am currently only booking service requests for 2-day minimum stays (mostly). Due to the presently staggering costs of pretty much everything, shorter bookings are simply not financially feasible for me at this time. That being said, I will happily consider single-day bookings on a case-by-case basis but can't guarantee that I will accept them unless the stars align perfectly. Hopefully this modification to my availability will prove to be temporary and short-lived. Thank you for your understanding. 💕
