Snuggles, Play & Fenced Yard Fun
Hi, I'm Shannon and I petsit with my husband, Steve. We have both grown up with dogs and have been devoted pet parents for over a decade. We’ve cared for everything from mischievous puppies to wise old seniors who needed daily medications and extra TLC. Whether your dog needs a slow stroll, a game of fetch, or a quiet lap to nap on, we’re here to make them feel at home. Our own pups—Louie and Bess—are friendly, playful, and used to sharing their space. We treat every dog like they’re part of the family (and yes, we talk to them in silly voices).

Shannon and Steven took WONDERFUL care of our little guy, Finn! The pictures they sent of him all cuddled up on their couch and playing with their own super cute puppies were delightful. Seeing how much fun he was having and how well he was taken care of made our days while we were gone. We hope to set up some playdates with their dogs again soon!
Our dogs were well taken care of over a weekend at Shannon and Steven's home! They were very communicative and based on all the photos, we know our dogs received the thing they crave the most = snuggles. We were thankful they were able to accomodate us in the mix with their 2x dogs. We'd definitely book with them again if Louie and Bess would allow it! ☺️
Shannon and Stephen were wonderful with Finn! They were very flexible with our drop-off times, and Finn obviously had a great time playing with their puppies. They made sure to send lots of adorable photo and video updates of Finn having a blast. Highly recommend!
We’re so grateful to Shannon and Steve for taking such wonderful care of our 11-year-old dog and 6-year-old cat while we were away! They were incredibly attentive, making sure both pets were comfortable, well-fed, and loved. They even helped with distributing our dog’s medication, which gave us such peace of mind. We especially appreciated the photo updates—they made us feel connected and reassured the entire time. It’s clear Shannon and Steve truly care, and we wouldn’t hesitate to trust them again with our furry family members!
Shannon was wonderful with our mature beagle named Ringo. Ringo loved her dogs too! All the dogs played together just like they were brothers and sisters and had known each other since birth.
Shannon is a life long dog lover and it shows. She takes great care of her own dogs and will treat your dog with the same care. Shannon realizes that different dogs have different needs and personalities, and she will follow your instructions accordingly. Don’t hesitate to use Shannon for your dog; your fur baby will be in good hands.

Schedule
Pet care is our routine! Either Steve or I will be home full time when your dog is with us, so they’ll get plenty of attention, outdoor breaks, and snuggles throughout the day. Our dogs love their daily walks, and visiting the dog park (with your permission) is always a highlight. Between window watching, sunbathing, and playtime, your pup will be enjoying a mini vacation of their own—while you’re off on yours.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. At our home, pups are never left alone—either Steve or I will always be here to supervise, cuddle, and play. We have a securely fenced yard (6 foot privacy fence) for safe outdoor time and a spacious first floor where the dogs can relax, play, and snooze in the sun. If your dog needs medication, special feeding, or just a little extra love—we’ve got it covered. You can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is safe, happy, and very loved.

A typical day
A typical day at our house is full of fun, fresh air, and furry cuddles. We start the morning with breakfast, followed by some sunbathing and toy time—rubber chickens and tug ropes welcome! Throughout the day, your pup will have plenty of play with our dogs (if they’re into that) or just chill time on the couch with us. We do window patrols for birds and squirrels, take potty breaks in our fenced yard, and—with your okay—sometimes head to the dog park for extra sniffing and zoomies. Evenings usually wind down with cuddles and belly rubs. We'll follow your requested schedule for walks: It’s a dog’s life, and we make sure it’s a good one.
