I've been a dog owner all my life!
I cannot remember a time that I was not a dog lover, care-taker, trainer, helper, owner, companion, ect. I have a special affinity for the way a dog will be so loving & loyal no matter the circumstance.

I do have a fenced in yard as well as a 2 year old skye terrier myself providing the space and companionship needed. I also have a car that will allow me to commute to a clients home as needed.

Shannon is a volunteer at a food pantry where I also volunteer at. I needed to go away for a night and she offered to take care of my 16 year old shiztsu so I wouldn’t have to board her. I figured if she has a heart for people she must have a heart for animals too. What a relief to be able to keep her home and comfortable. Shannon was so sweet and would send me pics and videos of my “puppy”. I would definitely use Shannon again.
We trusted Shannon to take care of our cat when we were out of town. She is a lover of animals big and small, gentle, and caring. Has taught her dog how to use a doorbell to tell he needs to go out.
Shannon Smithson is a great dog mom, taking excellent care of her pets, making homemade dog food, grooming, exercise and love. She has also cared for my dog on many occasions when I have been out of the country. I am confident my at-times-can-be-difficult-husky is well cared for and loved.

Schedule
I currently have a very flexible part-time position that provides me ample time to care for fur-babies! I do have a family to consider so my availability will need flexibility at times but I look forward to providing the care needed.
