I do not think having a pet sitter should be a stressful situation for you, I hope to provide peace of mind to you while you are away from your pet! I love sending frequent updates and pictures so you can still be in touch with your dog! When with your pets, they will have my undivided attention and care!

I am excited to work with you and your pet! Some things I would love to know ahead of time include: - Is your pet particular about meeting new people? - Does your dog need any sort of medication or supplements? - Is there anything specifically that makes your dog anxious or that they do not like? - What is the best things I can do to make your dog feel happy and safe?
A typical day
I love playing with dogs! Often times I will play with the ball or their favorite toys to make sure your dog is having fun and getting the proper amount of exercise they need. On walks, I make sure to allow the dog to stop and smell everything so they can learn everything about their surroundings. If allowed by the owner, I love to do little brain games for dogs by hiding treats in toys for them to find or trying to teach them new tricks!

Hi! My name is Shannon and I have been taking care of dogs since I was ten years old, but have been a dog owner my whole life. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs. In addition I have cared for senior dogs with extensive medical conditions, so I am very comfortable providing medication according to your and your dogs schedule. I have two German shorthaired pointers of my own, so I am very comfortable providing comfortable around both large and high energy dogs in addition to all other size dogs with different energy levels!

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Shannon! She’s been watching our two dogs (a crazy pointer mix and a lab mix) for seven years now, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with them. Our pointer needs to run and play constantly, and she always matches her energy. Our lab just wants love and cuddles, and she’s happy to give that too. Every time we drop the dogs off, they’re practically dragging us to her. Now she watches our new lab puppy too and is amazing with her! If you need a dog sitter who actually cares and treats your dogs like family, Shannon is the best!
