I’m a lifelong lover of animals. I love them so much, at 13 I decided I can’t eat them. 😋 #vegetarian I have had cats most of my life and appreciate their independence, and different personalities. Of course my goal is to make them love me, but it really has to be at their pace. Any cat owner knows you can’t make cats do anything they don’t want to. 😄 I have had my own dog/s for over 20 years. I have tons of experience with small-medium dogs, and have taken care of many large dogs over the years. Years ago I did dog fostering for hoarding situations. It was so rewarding to see the change in behavior once they were cleaned, groomed, and given a loving home. 😍🥰 I currently have my dog (2Y,F) Zhuri, who is a 11lb, Chihuahua/Terrier mix. She is extremely loving, playful, and submissive. I also have a 10 year old, long haired princess (cat) named Phoebe, after Phoebe from Friends. I have experience with cockatiels, conures, parakeets, Senegals, and finches. Turtles, gerbils, Guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, jumping spiders (yes I have had many as pets). Did you know you can catch them, make a cool terrarium for them and buy worms or fruit flies and keep them as pets?!?! They are very entertaining and so friendly. This is how I beat my arachnophobia.

Safety, trust & environment
A safe environment is #1. I have a fully fenced yard allowing safe exercise but also am strict about dogs being on a leash at all times, when on a walk. Communication is so important and I pride myself in being an excellent communicator. I want to respect each pets likes/dislikes, comfort level with new people and environment. I follow their lead. I am a very much “follow the rules”, put your shopping cart back, pick up the poop, do the right thing, kind of person. 😇

Schedule
I want to spend my time outside and with animals as much as possible. I have a flexible schedule with time, energy, patience, and love to give! I recently graduated from school and received my board certification in Polysomnography.
