I’ve been around dogs most of my life and enjoy spending time with them. I have 1 of my own currently (4 year old Border Collie) & before that had a chow/Eskimo mix for 9 years before I had to put her down. I do have a job however I am only gone for a few hours at a time then home for a few hours so I have plenty of time to spend with your babies. I have a fenced in yard & a dog park within 5 minutes of my home. I would treat your pup(s) just like a member of my own family. Along with boarding, I can also come to your home & spend time with them there & let them out.

We’ve used Shannon a bunch over the past few years and our 2 Aussies always come back to us happy and healthy! We were just traveling abroad for several weeks and Shannon watched them for 10 days of that time and coordinated a pickup which was super helpful. I had peace of mind while being so far from home that they were at Shannon’s house, and all the pictures proved that they made themselves right at home as usual! We appreciate it!

Schedule
Preferable drop off/pick up times: M-F before 7am or after 430pm & weekends anytime between 8am-11pm. I'm currently working full time but my spouse is home during the hours I'm at work so there will almost always be someone home during the day. I'm home every weeknight by 430 and weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard and gates located throughout the house & leading into the yard. All new pups, if coming from different families, meet with a barrier in between to evaluate how they will most likely do face to face before they are allowed to meet without the gate in between.
Pets
A typical day
Walks around the neighborhood or hikes, visit with family, cuddling on the couch. Lounging on the deck during the warmer months. Basically just being another member of the family.
