I work remotely in tech sales and coordinate my own hours. I'd like to develop a doggie day care/ boarding as a side business because being around happy doggos just makes life better. Happy to walk or house sit/ stop in for your pup; pups or multiple pets, extended stays welcome. I frequently watch my God dog for more than a week at a time and with her size/ distance from her home, it's easiest to keep her with me. For bigger dogs or pups with meaningful home routines, keeping them with me may not be best. Love pups larger than myself and handheld fluffs! Rates are flexible depending on distance and duration. Looking forward to meeting you and your pup!

I am happy to stop in or stay overnight depending on your vacation needs/ distance between us. I'm happy to go on multiple walks/ playtime/ PT or a wagon walk and outdoor enrichment (I always bring water, blankets, extra bags and snacks from experience with my elderly pups) based on your needs. If your away for an extended period, I prefer not leaving dogs alone at night (if it's alright with you) unless that is a part of their normal routine. I will keep crate time (s) if that's your schedule and have experience administering eye medication, and time sensitive oral medication.

Information Shannon O. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know of any and everything that your pup may need to feel safe and comfortable. As mentioned, I have plenty of experience administering medicine and (if it's an extended stay) want you to come home to a happy pup that spent their time away from the pack feeling like they were on vacation too. I love walking dogs as well, please let me know if they have any allergies or strict diets (eating grass is so thrilling).
A typical day
If you live near a reserve or outdoor walking spaces, I love getting paws on actual dirt. The smells are thrilling and I don't mind spending 45 seconds smelling every shrub 10x over. For dogs that enjoy tug- o- war or fetch, it's great exercise & for those pups it's allowable for, I like to take treats on walks for when they check in before a street or when they're not pulling. I find it's most rewarding to encourage good behavior & trained my dog to be off leash in the reserve based on good leash behavior (and knowing I had treats if she stayed within several feet). Happy to keep your dog on (or off) leash or accommodate any special needs during walks, play, or down time. We recently lost our Pittie we had for 17 years and the last years were pretty slow moving. Walks were more like the cha cha, step, step - sniff, sniff, sniff (wait 10 seconds), repeat!

Professional Pooch Lover
Pet care experience
I was raised with boxers and the love of pups has been continuous. I'm the woman who has to stop and pet every pooch that wants love (even if I'm with mine) and at 3 Lab Cab winery, spend most my time petting the resident labs! I have a God dog named Philly Lou (I'm the bridesmaid holding her in her moms wedding pic) and resident pet sitter for my four legged furry nieces and nephews/ active spoiler on regular visits. I adore pups of all ages from weening to pulling the wagon behind me when the walk turns into wanting to be pulled and sniffing the breeze without pressure on the paws or work of walking. I have an especially tender heart for elderly dogs after recently losing two in the last couple years and watching the spastic body bend and extreme tail wagging/ full body lean transition to a head bob and excited pitter patters slowly moving towards you as a greeting. This is pleasure work for me, my day job is fairly dry (primarily MS channel) and seeing pups smile makes my heart sing. I'd love to hear about your baby (ies) and am happy to provide private insurance details so you're as comfortable as I'll keep the fur babes!
Reviews

Shannon took excellent care of our 3 pets. She provided frequent updates and was quick to respond to any inquiries we had. This was my first time hiring a house sitter for my pets, and I felt so much better knowing Shannon was looking after my babies.

Shannon was AMAZING! My girls are very picky about who they snuggle up with and they loved Shannon. Their grandma popped in to visit and even she pointed out how they were not as amused with grandma this visit and wanted to follow Shannon around instead. I can’t thank Shannon enough for taking such good care of our babies and our house.

Shannon was awesome! She gave Erby & Tiger lots of love and attention. She was also great on giving us a daily update with pictures. She spent a lot of time with both of our fur babies. She also watered our plants and took excellent care of our home! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🙌. We’ll be calling Shannon again!

Shannon did an amazing job for my dog and cat. Emma is a 16 1/2 Australian Shepherd that needs multiple medicines. She's a very picky eater with a bad back and a tendency to get pancreatitis. Shannon was able to feed her, give her medicine regularly (not an easy task), take her for walks 1-2 times a day, and keep her healthy. I came home to a vey happy dog that was in wonderful shape. Sebastian is an indoor/outdoor cat who looked great when he came to greet me. Shannon works out of the home so was able to work in my home and keep my animals company at the same time. She's communicates and sends pictures so I always knew their status. I would definitely ask Shannon to take care of my pets again.
