Your pet's new pal!
I am an animal lover with life long experience caring for cats & dogs, and some experience caring for turtles, chickens, ducks, and goats. My motivation is for your pets, and all animals in my presence to feel nurtured and cared for with loving attention because they deserve it. I've been told I'm a patient, communicative, intuitive, and responsibly playful carer of pets by pet owners I've worked with. I have experience with pets that need some extra care such as giving meds, need subcutaneous fluids, have special diets, or need more attention/comfort if prone to anxiety. I am just starting out with Rover but my most recent pet sitting experiences outside of this site included being entrusted to care for 2 homesteads with dogs, cats, chickens, and gardens, as well as 2 family's large and small dogs while they traveled. I want to provide a safe, trusting, and fun environment for your pets. Just let me know what their needs are! Depending on the situation, It's always nice to meet your pet for the first time with you, the pet parent, present and give them a moment to warm up and build trust with me. I love to hear a little background about your pet and any behaviors or patterns I should be aware of to keep them (and everyone) safe and comfortable.

Shannon is amazing! We came home to very happy animals and a tidy house. Would book again anytime we need a trusted housesitter.
This was our 4th time having Shannon watch our scaredy cat pups. She is great with them and they are most comfortable with her than a few other sitters we’ve used in the past. I fully trust her to watch the pups.
Repeat pet/house sitting booking with Shannon. She is so great with our needy pups. Willing to work with you as things come up. Communicates regularly with texts & pics. The scaredy pups love her. Will definitely book again.
Shannon was awesome with our 2 pups during a long weekend getaway. Our 2 pups are covid pups so they’re pretty timid around strangers. Both of them came around to her much quicker than they normally do with others, which says a lot. Will definitely book her again.
Shannon did a great job of taking care of our older cat. She followed our directions, kept the house clean and had good communications.
Shannon was great! Our dog liked her, and even our cat, who is afraid of everyone, wasn't too scared. She was communicative and responded to all our questions. She took great care of our pets (and our house) while we were away!
