I have a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology and hands-on experience working as a veterinary technologist in general medicine. Caring for animals isn't just something I love, it's something I've been professionally trained to do. I am comfortable caring for pets with medical needs, administering medications, following special diets, and recognizing changes in a pet's health or behavior that may need veterinary attention. I've worked with animals of all ages and personalities. I've also genuinely loved animals my entire life. I grew up with police dogs, have a dog of my own who I raised from a puppy, and share my home with my eight cats, six of whom I've raised from kittens. Whether I'm caring for a healthy puppy who needs some structure, a senior who needs a little extra attention, or a pet with a laundry list of medical needs, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you're away. Your animal’s comfort is my biggest priority.

I’ve known her since elementary school, and she’s always been obsessed with animals. She grew up with two German Shepherds and now has a dog and three cats of her own. We’ve rescued and taken care of animals together, so I’ve seen firsthand how much she actually cares about them. I’ve trusted her with my pets when I’ve been away, including a three-week trip, and I never had to worry about them. She always keeps me updated and sends pictures, which I love. I’d 100% trust her with my pets. She’s responsible, caring, and genuinely loves animals, and I know she’ll treat anyone’s pets like her own.

Schedule
I am currently freelancing, so much of my time is spent at home or bringing my dog on outdoor adventures nearby. Pet care is a round-the-clock part of my life with my own pets, and I genuinely enjoy having animals around.

I have a very friendly dog who I raised from a puppy and three cats of my own. I live in a spacious condo with plenty of room to roam and a dedicated sunroom for cats, aka the Kitty Haven, where they can comfortably retreat and have their own space. I have a crate available if needed and am very well-versed in crate training and dog training. My home is already set up for animals, with plenty of pet supplies, toys, and space for them to be comfortable. I'm happy to accommodate each pet's individual routine, personality, and needs, and I want them to feel at home rather than like they're staying somewhere unfamiliar.
Pets
A typical day
I like to keep pets active, engaged, and comfortable while they're in my care, while also following their normal routine as closely as possible. Depending on the pet, a typical day might include walks and outdoor adventures with my dog, playtime, training and enrichment, cuddling, or simply hanging out together if that's what they prefer. I love working on training and reinforcing good habits through everyday activities, especially with puppies and young dogs. For cats, I enjoy interactive play, giving them attention on their terms, and making sure they have plenty of opportunities to explore, relax, and be entertained. Every pet is different, so I like to learn their personality, energy level, routine, and favorite activities ahead of time so I can make their time with me feel comfortable and genuinely fun.
