When I’m dog sitting, I intentionally keep my schedule flexible and avoid making fixed plans. This allows me to prioritize the pets in my care, provide consistent supervision, and adjust my day around their needs for walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. My routine is centered on making sure each dog receives attentive, reliable care throughout the day.

Information Shannon M. would like to know about your pet
It’s important for me to know your pet’s daily routine, feeding schedule, potty habits, and any medical needs or medications. I also like to understand their personality, energy level, and what helps them feel comfortable or calm in a new environment. Knowing any triggers, fears, training cues, or house rules is helpful too. The more I know about your pet, the better I can keep them safe, happy, and on their normal routine while you’re away.
A typical day
I tailor activities to each pet’s age, energy level, and routine. This can include neighborhood walks (if that’s okay with the dog parent), outdoor playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I have a fenced-in yard for playing fetch or just running around. For senior pets or those who prefer a calmer pace, I focus on gentle walks, comfort, and companionship. I also try to stick to your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.

Pet care experience
Hi! I’m an animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I was a proud dog parent for 13 years to my lab/pit bull mix, Sara, who taught me patience, consistency, and just how deep the human–dog bond can be.
Reviews

Shannon is the GOAT, very kind, very sweet, and a wholesome person. She and my pup got along very well, kept me updated, and will definitely be watching her again. 10/10 would recommend 🙏🏾
