Let me know if you dog has any considerations or needs that I should be aware of. I’m flexible and can work to meet individualized needs. I do practice positive reinforcement with the dogs I watch and will reward for universal "good" behaviors (ex. not pulling on leash, calmly passing other dogs, sitting, coming when called, etc). If there is something you're working on, let me know and I'll work on it with you! I will use food or treats or whatever your dog is motivated by. I do have Milk-bones and other types of treats, but let me know if your dog is on a diet or has any allergies. I do sometimes watch more than one dog at a time. Let me know how your dog is with other dogs, or if you think it'd be best for them to be the only dog in the household. I can definitely accommodate dogs that are reactive or dogs that need to be the only dog- just let me know!
A typical day
I enjoy daily runs, and if your pup likes to run I would love for them to join. I live close to several running/walking trails, and enjoy hiking and exploring the outdoors. If you are okay with it, I would love to take your dog to the park, the beach, or on a hike.

Pet care experience
I absolutely love taking care of animals! I have owned dogs, cats, rabbits, and hamsters. I enjoy an active lifestyle and am able to meet the exercise needs of any pet. Depending on your dog and their abilities, I can provide tons of outdoor time. I usually do around 45 minutes to 1 hour long walk in the morning, with another long walk or fun outdoor activity in the afternoon (swimming, hiking, fetch in the park, etc). I live in a single-family home with my sister Alexis. I work full-time, but have a hybrid work schedule and have many days/mornings/afternoons where I am able to work from home. I can accommodate different schedules and times for drop-offs and pick-ups with enough notice. My sister works full-time from 7am-3:30pm, so your pup won't spend too much time alone. I do not work on the weekends and therefore am free to take your pup to different spots to play! I have a small yard that is partially fenced, but am also able to take your dog on long walks in the neighborhood. Let me know if your dog can go off-leash, or if they should remain leashed or in fenced-in areas. I do have a long line (30ft) that can be used with your dog so they can explore and run while still being leashed.

Shannon was fantastic for Oliver. She came through last minute after someone else fell through. He is high energy so i was hoping to find someone very active. And as a covid pup with some separation anxiety, it was important to me that he have a really good experience to help him learn to feel less anxious about being away from me. She was accommodating with his needs and he had a great departure which is the part where he can become very distressed. She brought him for a few mile run through west rock with a walk after, sent some beautiful pictures of him enjoying the view, and he even got another walk in the neighborhood later. Oliver was thrilled - legit best case scenario for him - and came home relaxed, calm, and ready for a nap. I’ll definitely be reaching out again!
