I stay in your home to care for your babies. I sometimes work remotely, sometimes out of the home. Most of the cats that I care for are fairly independent and can be left alone during the day. I have administered medication, both pills and liquid in a syringe to multiple cats. I'm also happy to do drop-in visits instead of staying in your home if that's your preference.

A typical day
I love to talk to the kitties I sit. If they like pets, I give many pets. If they like to snuggle, we snuggle. If they like their space, I'm respectful of that. I like to play with them with their toys.

Cat care experience
I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up in a home where we always had at least a dog and a cat, sometimes more than one. We also had a rabbit at one point and many hamsters. Kitties are my favorite. I love their independent, yet snuggly ways. I love discovering the unique personality of each kitty that I care for. I've been housesitting/pet sitting regularly for the last several months. I enjoy getting to know each kitty's personality, giving them time to warm up in their own way. I find that most of the kitties that I care for warm up very quickly, even the shy ones. I'm very respectful of every cat's need for space (or major snuggles!)

Shannon was wonderful. The boys loved her. I was worried about leaving them for days, as I never had, but once we met Shannon, those fears evaporated. She came for a couple short visits prior to my trip. They took to her immediately, and while I was away she sent videos and pics multiple times per day. Really couldn't be happier!
I met Shannon on Zoom a few months before our sit. We tried to meet in person, but couldn't coordinate our schedules. Shannon has such a great personality, it's hard not to like her. She came a day early and stayed a day later, and we stayed up way too late chatting. She will be back at least 2 more times this year. She sent great photos every day. She was clean, and my cats were well taken care of. She was nice in letting my neighbor's cat come visit as well. I look forward to her next sit.
Shannon has cared for my senior cat, Meemers, several times when we were out of town. She is so good at feeding on time for her special needs and meals and she takes time to sit and play and make sure Meemers is doing well. Shannon has also sent pics of Meemes to us to let us know Meemers is thriving. We trust our home and our beloved Meemers to Shannon every time. Highly recommend and trust
