My name is Shannon - I currently work full-time (Mon-Fri from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.) in Prescott. I am, of course, willing to come "home" at lunch time and directly after work to care for your "fur kid(s)." I have quite a bit of experience with house/dog/cat sitting, and can provide references. Most of my house/pet sitting experience comes in the form of dog/cat care including experience with giving pills to cats and dogs. I also have some experience with other animals, including horses, ferrets, rodents, fish, etc. It seems like a lifetime ago, but I worked as a zookeeper for 4 years and, in that position, I also gained experience caring for exotic animals including reptiles and arachnids. We have two dogs of our own; Leia is a mix and Hogan is a Rottweiler. We also have a sassy orange cat, Butts. For your dog's safety and comfort, I am always interested in a Meet & Greet. It's important to me to be able to meet your pet(s) before you leave your home. Having their parent(s) leave is hard enough without adding a complete stranger to the mix. I love to have detailed instructions that include feeding schedule/requirements as well as general information about your dog(s) (i.e. Where does your dog sleep? Can (s)he be on the furniture? What's his(her) favorite toy, etc.). I look forward to loving your pets as much as you do. I live in Chino Valley and work in Prescott. I’m open to sitting for your fur kids on a drop in basis (Prescott or Chino) or I'm happy to stay over at your home, which is normally what I do (pretty open to location). I want you and your pets to have the care and company that makes you comfortable. Lastly, I’ve been off Rover for a while, but I’m looking forward to meeting some new furry babies to love.
