As a pet-mom to two high-effort dogs and a very attached cat, I know how important it is to have a reliable plan in place when you inevitably need to leave your babies. I’ve professionally cared for animals since I was 16, starting at PAWS Tinley Park as Jr. Volunteer. When I moved downtown for college, I transitioned to the PAWS in Lincoln Park and Chicago Anit-Cruelty Society. From these opportunities, I learned the immense patient, hard work and empathy it requires to care for pets of all kinds and at all life stages. From abandoned new born kittens to senior dogs awaiting a home to live out their golden years, I was touched by every single animal who trusted me with their care. There is no better feeling than watching an animal grow to trust you and feel safe when you’re around. My goal when caring for your pet is to give them the same love, patience, and attention I would want someone to give my own. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets behind, especially when they’re such an important part of your family. Whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood, cleaning a litter box, or an extended sleepover, I’ll take the time to learn their routines, understand their personalities, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Your pets deserve to feel at home even when you’re not there, and I’d be honored to give them that care.
