Pet care experience

when ur away ur dog is here to play

Hello! I would make a great addition to you and your pet(s) experience while you are away! I have been responsible overnight pet sitter for 3 previous family friends, worked at a doggy daycare for 1.5 years, provided drop in visits since I was 15 for dogs, cats, reptiles, amphibians, rodents and fish, and have owned my own pet ever since I could remember! I feel that I have a natural ability to create a safe bond with all animals and exhibit calm and caring demeanor when around all animals. Although I am very energetic and would love to take your dog on walks, I understand that cannot happen due to health and age restrictions. A little bit about me personally, I am a substitute teacher for kids with special needs going back to school online at Loyola University for my Masters in special education. I enjoy being outside when the weather is nice, reading, cooking, and going to the lake or dog park with my own pet! Thank you for reading my profile and I would love to be your next pet caregiver🐶🐱🐢🐸🐭🐠💕

Schedule

I work full time and spend my early mornings and afternoons spending time with my pet by taking him on walks, going to the dog park or forest preserve, and having leisure time outside. I have the weekends off and do not tend to work for more than 8 hours a day.

A typical day

My favorite activity is to take dogs on walks that are 30 minutes to 1hr long once or twice a day. I enjoy playing fetch, tug a war, and other sensory seeking games for dogs. I also allow for other animals to get exercise inside safe places in the home and love to play keep away with cats! I insist on providing scratches, rubs, and pats for a long period of time and enjoy snuggling up on the couch for a movie! If allowed, It’s fun to provide bones or other treats that animals can enjoy (frozen peanut butter, etc)!

Does she/he like other dogs? If your dog has any allergies? Does your dog have to take any medications? How long do you recommend walks? Does your pet have the tendency to try to escape from the home/ yard? How aggressive/ reactive is your pet? (Although this does not bother me). What is your pets favorite/ least favorite activities?
