Daily walks are already part of my routine and I'm excited to have your pup tag along. Together we'll enjoy 3–4 walks per day along the waterfront and surrounding areas, balanced with calm rest time at home. My home is best suited for dogs who are comfortable settling and relaxing between walks while I'm working.

To help your dog settle in and enjoy their stay, I recommend bringing their bed and few of their favorite toys. All food, waste bags, and other items you think your dog will need should also be provided. I have water and food bowls along with a large crate if needed. All new clients complete an in-person meet & greet to ensure we’re a good fit. During that time, we’ll review temperament, routines, feeding schedule, and any behavioral considerations. For safety and consideration of myself and my neighbors, I’m not able to accommodate dogs that are not potty trained, have a history of biting or aggression, or that bark excessively when left alone. Out of an abundance of caution, I also avoid dog parks and off-leash areas while your dog is under my supervision.

A typical day
Daily schedule may depend on your dog's individual needs, but most days look something like this: Your pup will get 3-4 walks a day with belly rubs, naps, and play time in between. We start the day with a morning stroll, usually before breakfast. We take 1-2 midday adventures down by the water. After mealtime and the last walk of the evening, your pup can curl up where they're coziest -- either in their own bed or sprawled out on a cozy rug.

Pet care experience
****NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS**** I joined Rover after my senior pittie gained his angel wings. Caring for other canines helps me get my dog fix while I'm not yet ready for another dog of my own. As a former dog mom, I understand how important it is to leave your dog with someone you can trust to take great care, and who will put your mind at ease with regular, responsive communication. When your dog staycations with me, you can rest assured that I'm caring for your pup as I would my own. What Sets Me Apart From the Pack 1️⃣One Dog At A Time: No resident pets and no rotating pack. Your dog gets my full attention. ⏰Work-From-Home Supervision: I am present the majority of the day, so your pup has a pal around the clock. 🏠Clean, Calm Environment: I maintain a clean, calm home and consistent daily rhythm that most dogs thrive in. 📷Daily Photo Updates + Communication: You'll always be in the know with regular pup-dates and prompt replies. 🌊 Waterfront Walks: Your pup will explore new sights and smells with the Seattle waterfront and Olympic Sculpture Park just minutes away. 🐶 All Breeds, Sizes & Ages Welcome: I welcome all potty-trained, people-friendly dogs with open arms and treats.
Reviews

We love Shannon! We feel so comfortable leaving Odin with her and he always looks right at home. Tons of updates and pictures and she is extremely flexible and communicative.

I left Zoey with Shannon for a week and never felt worried about her while I was away! We had a meet and greet before booking and Shannon made me feel comfortable about leaving Zoey in her care. She sent me photos every day and was especially helpful with updates in the first couple of days to let me know how Zoey was settling in. I would book with Shannon again!

We’re so grateful Shannon cared for our dog while we were away. It’s always hard to leave your pup, but I felt at ease leaving YB with her. She sent lots of photos and updates, and it was clear YB was comfortable and well cared for. She was also flexible when our flight home changed and we wanted to adjust pickup time, which we really appreciated. We’d happily book with her again!

Shannon was fantastic! She sends daily updates with photos, and our dog had a wonderful time with her! She cares for our dog like he is her own :)
