Pups are my full-time focus, so I spend most of my time giving them attention throughout the day. I map my schedule around your pup's care—including meals, walks, playtime, and duh, naps. Last-minute calls or texts don't stress me out at all; consider me your neighborhood pup 911. I am around 24/7—including your birthday, my birthday, and the Super Bowl (which should be a national holiday by now). Your pup will never be left alone for long, ensuring they always feel cared for, safe, and secure.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety, structure, and comfort are my top priorities whether I am hosting in my home or managing yours. I bring a zero-drama approach to your pup's care: no pressure, no force—just good vibes and treats. • Pet CPR & First Aid and Fear Free® certifications, so I know how to maintain a calm environment where pups feel safe and secure. • I primarily host small and medium pups (up to 50 lbs) but am open to larger ones, and only accept friendly, socialized pups to protect the safety of everyone involved. • My space is large, quiet, clean, and dog-friendly with supervision at all times. Plus, after 11+ years living in West Hollywood, I know the neighborhood like the back of my hand. Your pup will get exercise and come home tired in the best way.

Information Shannon H. would like to know about your pet
A meet & greet before the first service is strongly preferred—I want to make sure we're a good match before your pup is stealing my couch. Before we get started, it really helps me to know: • Neighborhood Triggers: How do they react to bikes, loud noises, scooters, or traffic? • Leash Reactivity: How do they handle seeing other dogs while out on a walk? • Diet & Rewards: Any specific dietary needs, allergies, or treat restrictions? • Safety & Security: Are they a known flight risk or prone to slipping their collar? • Behavioral Quirks: Do they have any resource guarding with food, toys, or spaces? The more I know about your pup up front, the better!
A typical day
A typical day includes morning, midday, and evening walks, regular potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. I map out days to each pup’s energy level—whether that means calm indoor play or relaxed strolls so your pup gets to sniff 52 things. The pups have quiet time to rest, decompress, and feel at home. I follow your routine as closely as possible to keep their world predictable and stress-free.

Pet care experience
Pups truly bring me joy. I’ve been the go-to person for 15+ years for friends, neighbors, and colleagues—somehow becoming everyone’s emergency contact for their pups. I treat every pup with the kindness, patience, and the attention they deserve. Every pup gets treated like they own the place—because they pretty much do. To maintain a low-stress environment, I do not use crates in my home, and pups do not need to be crate-trained to stay with me. They are welcome to curl up, relax, and inevitably steal my spot on the couch (or bed).
Reviews

Shannon was amazing with my dog Koda! She’s a bit shy but it seemed like she warmed up really quickly to her. He is a great communicator, punctual, very prepared, and understanding. He goes above and beyond to understand your dogs personality and routine. I will definitely be booking with him again next time I go out of town! I’m so glad I found a sitter that I can trust with Koda

Shannon was excellent when we left our 2 pups at the last minute. The communication and updates were consistent and kept our minds at ease that our pets were well taken care of. I would highly recommend Shannon to care for your pets!
I’ve known Shannon for 20 years and he’s always had a natural gift with dogs. His calm yet playful energy has made my pup, Baxter, enjoy every interaction. Baxter can take a bit to warm up to people but he’s always felt comfortable around Shannon. Now they are best buds! Shannon’s reliable, on-time, communicative and easy to coordinate with. Without hesitation I would (continue to) recommend him to anyone seeking a loving and dependable dog caregiver - which I’ve already been doing for years!
