your pup's best bud
Pups truly bring me joy. I’ve been the go-to person for 15+ years for friends, neighbors, and colleagues, somehow becoming everyone’s emergency contact for their pups. I treat every pup with the kindness, patience, and attention they deserve. Every pup gets treated like they own the place, because they pretty much do. My home is best suited for fully house-trained, easygoing pups who are comfortable on leash and enjoy a calm, relaxed environment. To maintain a low-stress environment, I do not use crates in my home, and pups do not need to be crate-trained to stay with me. They’re welcome to curl up, relax, and inevitably steal my spot on the couch (or bed).

Shannon took wonderful care of Brodie and Dylan! He genuinely cared about making sure they were comfortable and happy throughout their stay. He kept me updated with photos, was especially attentive to Brodie’s medication schedule, and made sure they got plenty of long walks and exercise. It gave me great peace of mind knowing they were in such caring hands. I highly recommend Shannon and would happily book with him again!
Shannon was amazing with my dog Koda! She’s a bit shy but it seemed like she warmed up really quickly to her. He is a great communicator, punctual, very prepared, and understanding. He goes above and beyond to understand your dogs personality and routine. I will definitely be booking with him again next time I go out of town! I’ve known Shannon for 20 years and he’s always had a natural gift with dogs. His calm yet playful energy has made my pup, Baxter, enjoy every interaction. Baxter can take a bit to warm up to people but he’s always felt comfortable around Shannon. Now they are best buds! Shannon’s reliable, on-time, communicative and easy to coordinate with. Schedule
Pups are my full-time focus, so I spend most of my day giving them plenty of attention. I map my schedule around your pup's routine, including meals, walks, playtime, and, duh, naps. Last-minute calls or texts don't stress me out; consider me your neighborhood pup 911. I have a very flexible schedule and am around throughout the day, including your birthday, my birthday, and the Super Bowl (which should be a national holiday by now). Because pet care is my full-time focus, your pup won't be left alone for long and will get plenty of attention, walks, and time to settle in and feel at home.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety, structure, and comfort are my top priorities when welcoming pups into my home. I keep things calm and low-stress: no pressure, no force, just patience, good vibes, and treats. • Pet CPR & First Aid and Fear Free® certified, with a focus on maintaining a calm environment where pups feel safe and secure. • I primarily host small and medium pups (up to 50 lbs) and only accept friendly, socialized dogs who are fully house-trained, comfortable walking on leash, and non-reactive toward other dogs and people. • My home is best suited for easygoing pups without significant behavioral or training needs. This allows me to provide a relaxed, low-stress experience for every pup in my care. • My space is quiet, clean, and dog-friendly, with plenty of supervision throughout the day. After 11+ years in West Hollywood, I also know the neighborhood like the back of my hand. Your pup will get plenty of exercise and come home tired in the best way.
A typical day
A typical day includes morning, midday, and evening walks, regular potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. I tailor each day to your pup’s energy level, whether that means indoor play, longer neighborhood walks, or relaxed strolls where your pup gets to stop and sniff 52 things. Between adventures, pups get plenty of quiet time to rest, decompress, and feel at home. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including meal and walk times, to keep their stay predictable, comfortable, and low-stress.
