Honestly? I'm always around. 24/7-365 — yep, including your birthday, my birthday, and the Super Bowl (which should honestly be a national holiday by now). Pups are my full-time thing, so last-minute calls or texts don't stress me out at all. Consider me your neighborhood pup 911.

Safety, trust & environment
Pet CPR & First Aid and Fear Free® Certified — so ya, I got this. My apartment is large, calm, clean, and dog-friendly (my neighbors have met enough pups to know the drill). 11+ years in WeHo, so we walk everywhere — your pup will come home tired in the best way possible. No pressure, no force, no drama. Just good vibes and treats.

Information Shannon H. would like to know about your pet
A meet & greet before the first service is strongly preferred — I want to make sure we're a good match before your pup is stealing my couch. Before we get started, it really helps me to know: • Any neighborhood triggers (bikes, loud noises, scooters, etc.) • How they handle seeing other dogs on leash • Dietary needs or treat restrictions • Any resource guarding quirks (food, toys, or spaces) • If they are a flight risk or prone to slipping their collar The more I know about your pup up front, the better!
A typical day
Morning walk to kick things off, because nobody's happy until they've sniffed at least 47 things. Then breakfast, some couch time, another outing mid-day, more couch time (they really earn it), an afternoon adventure, and an evening wind-down walk before bed. We're talking 3-4 outings a day — your pup will come home and sleep like they ran a marathon. You're welcome.

Pet care experience
Dogs only (no cats — not sorry). I've been the go-to dog person for 15+ years for friends, neighbors, colleagues, you name it. Somehow I became everyone's emergency contact — for their pups. Fear Free® certified, because chill vibes matter (spoiler: they just want to feel safe and maybe steal your spot on the couch). Every pup gets treated like they own the place — because they kind of do.
Reviews
I’ve known Shannon for 20 years and he’s always had a natural gift with dogs. His calm yet playful energy has made my pup, Baxter, enjoy every interaction. Baxter can take a bit to warm up to people but he’s always felt comfortable around Shannon. Now they are best buds! Shannon’s reliable, on-time, communicative and easy to coordinate with. Without hesitation I would (continue to) recommend him to anyone seeking a loving and dependable dog caregiver - which I’ve already been doing for years!
