Pet CPR certified and animal lover!
I’ve been around animals since I was 4 years old. I received my Bachelors Degree in Animal & Nutritional Sciences at WVU. I was the general manager of a doggie daycare and boarding facility for 5 years so I’ve been around several different types of temperaments and have an advanced understanding of how to properly care for dogs. I am pet CPR certified, am certified with the Professional Animal Care Certification Council (PACCC) and I have certificates with the IBPSA (International Boarding & Pet Services Association) and the PPBC (Professional Pet Boarding Council). My educational knowledge has allowed me to be prepared for any situation that may arise and hopefully gives you comfort in knowing that I take my job and love for animals very seriously!

I do not currently offer overnights in my own home or your home due to having a dog of my own. Possibly in the future!

Shannon was so great with our dog, and we will definitely use her again! She always arrived right on schedule, and made sure everything went smoothly, and sent plenty of pictures of how happy our pup was while in her care. This was our first time having a dog sitter in several years, and now feel very comfortable to do this more often.
Shannon is fantastic! Super easy to coordinate plans with, communicates exceptionally well, and - most importantly - takes excellent care of our dog.

Shannon was amazing with my dog Duke. I was honestly very nervous having to get a dog sitter for the first time since my dog isn’t the best with strangers but Shannon was awesome with him!
Shannon is great. 10/10 human being. My cat even began to warm up to her at the end, which is rare for him to do to strangers.

Schedule
I work Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7 am - 4 pm. I can provide care on these days after 5 pm and I can provide care Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday throughout the day at any time!
