Shannon has taken care of my dog multiple times on urgent notice! My dog was always so happy to be there with her and came home happy every time. There’s been several times I needed help with minor medical needs for my dog and she has also been able to give me advice, due to her prior experience working at an animal clinic. Shannon has cared for our three rambunctious dogs and five cats multiple times over the past 10 years. Obviously with the quantity of pets we have, each one has their own unique personality and preferences. What I appreciate most about Shannon is that she has put forth the effort to learn about their quirks and spend quality time with them. We all worry as pet parents that the sitter you hire won't spend time with your fur babies. But I was never concerned with Shannon as I could tell from the text messages and pictures she would send us that they were well loved and maybe even spoiled (in the best possible way of course!). One thing that causes Shannon to stand out above all others is her experience. She has worked multiple years at a vet clinic having to walk dogs, keep their areas tidy, feed them, and ensure their medications are properly administered. Given that some of our pets are aging, their needs vary every time she pet sits for us, which is something Shannon has seamlessly adapted to. As a result of the many years Shannon has pet sat for us, she has also acquired unique experiences with other types of pets including, but not limited to, frogs, fish, bearded dragons, lizards, geckos, and tortoises. I have no doubt no matter the pet, scale, fur, or feather, Shannon will love and treat the pet like her own special ones at home.
