Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means I’m available throughout the day for walks, feedings, medications, check-ins, and supervision—not just quick drop-ins. I adapt my day around a pet’s existing routine, not the other way around, and I’m available on weekends as well. Translation: your fur baby will be thoroughly cared for, closely monitored, and occasionally wondering why I’m still there.

Dogs in my care enjoy activities that are tailored specifically to them. I take the time to learn each dog’s personality, energy level, and preferences, then plan activities that keep them happy and comfortable. This can include walks, playtime, enrichment activities, or quiet bonding time—always adjusted to support their well-being. We can check out all of the new sniffs in the neighborhood or watch dog/cat videos and chill...whatever works for them, works for me.

I’m a lifelong animal lover who’s been caring for dogs since I was five years old, starting with my first dog, Skipper. I currently have two rescue mixes—a 14-year-old boxer/husky and a 7-year-old pittie/husky—which has given me a deep respect for senior dogs and the quirks that come with them. I have a particular affinity for dogs with special needs and hands-on experience caring for dogs who are deaf, highly anxious, or require daily medications. I’m patient, observant, and take each dog’s routine seriously—your dog will be safe, understood, and well cared for (even if they pretend not to like me at first).

The best possible match for my Gracie!! Shannon is kind gentle and Gracie loves her so so much!! Shannon can get Gracie to do things I haven't been able to get her to do in 4 yrs!! She is so reliable, I never worry about getting Gracie's walk in. We love her and hope to keep her forever!!!!
Ace just loved Shannon! She was prompt and her care and connection with animals shines through. She took time to get to know Ace during a meet and great and the visit went great. I know Ace was in good hands and she sent some cute pics. Thanks Shannon! I will definitely book with you again.

Shanon was great! You can tell she’s definitely comfortable around animals. She had our skittish pups eating out of her hand (literally) the first night she was at our house. I never felt like I was bothering her with my questions or extra “forgot to mentions” and trusted completely that she would reach out with any questions or concerns. Our vacation was so enjoyable knowing our pups and kitties were safe at home and in good hands. I would recommend Shannon without hesitation!
