I am a former teacher, now stay-at-home kid and pet mom. I grew up on a hobby farm and have cared for all kinds of animals from dogs & tree frogs to horses and exotic cat species. I have had many jobs working with all kinds of animals including: veterinary technician, animal caretaker in zoology department at CMU, Spring Hill camp horse wrangler, pet store supervisor, and dog groomer. I have volunteered helping children with special needs through Equine Assisted Therapy. I have many years of experience with many dog breeds and have raised Siberian Huskies, Basset Hounds & a Golden Retriever from puppies. I can work with training puppies & rescues as well as administer medications & trim nails if needed. I also enjoy pet photography and am able to do a photo shoot for an extra fee. I am home full-time and currently available most days & times. I am very flexible so just let me know what your needs are and I’ll try my best to accommodate them. I am also available to take your dog for a walk/run or outing to a nearby park. If your pet is kid friendly my children would love to give them some extra love. I am extremely detail oriented & always keep safety in the front of my mind. I make sure to scan my surroundings when on a walk & work hard to make my doggie clients content & happy while their owners are away.

We will definitely be booking Shannon again. She was very professional and communicative, even when I had to throw her a curveball since I had written our conflicting instructions online versus what was hand-written next to the food area. We also tend to leave the food area pretty messy, and I swear it was more organized and tidy than when we left it, hah, thanks Shannon!
