Caring for your dogs like my own
I have been a dog lover since I was a child and have always owed at least two or more dogs at a time. I have 20 years experience fostering dogs of all types for several dog rescues in the province and as a volunteer with the local SPCA. Through the years, I have gained experience in dealing with all manner of doggie needs, from those of well loved dogs of family and friends to rescued dogs who have never lived inside or been given a kind touch. I am comfortable working with dogs of all breeds, ages and sizes and have experience working with dogs who have special needs, i.e., vision/hearing/mobility issues, mobility issues, special diets and medications. I have fostered everything from pregnant moms who gave birth to their wee little babies, watching and worrying about them, to senior and palliative care dogs. I consider my own dogs to be family members and treat all fosters as part of the family. I recognize that the decision to entrust someone with the well of being of your canine companion isn't always easy. Should I be chosen to care for your furry family member, they would be attended to as if they were my own dogs.

Shannon took excellent care of Neo. She provided updates, photos and videos throughout the day to show how Neo was doing. She was very friendly and easy to deal with, I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a high level of care for their dog!
A visit to Shannon's is always a great opportunity for my pup to practice her social skills with other dogs, all while under Shannon's watchful eye! Will definitely plan to send her back!
Shannon is a great choice as a pet-sitter! She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and my pup instantly loved her. She has a beautiful, pet-friendly home and enclosed backyard, and Easton came home exhausted after a day of playing with his new dog friends. I would highly recommend Shannon for your next Rover booking.
My second time sending my puppy to Shannon was a great success! She was hosting another dog at the time who was a great match for my pup's energy and play style. She came home at four and slept until bedtime, then after a brief period awake slept through the night!
My first time using Rover.com was to send my 7 month old for an afternoon of Doggy Day Care with Shannon. During the booking process Shannon was very responsive to messages. My pup was returned to me happy and rested, and the fact that she felt comfortable enough to curl up for a long nap on Shannon's lap was a good sign! I definitely plan on having my pup visit her again in the future!
Super accommodating and took great care of my anxious pup for the weekend! She can be pretty nervous but they did anything and everything to make her as calm and comfortable as possible!

Schedule
I am a shift worker and typically have 5 days at a time off after a rotation so have lots of time to provide top notch care for your pup.

I have 2 friendly dogs who can provide your pup with canine company. I have large fenced yard where your pup can safely and securely run and play. I can provide a crate if required or a separate room for them to relax in if they prefer some alone time.

There are lots of local trails and parks for walking. I have a fenced in backyard where dogs can go off leash to throw a ball or toy around.
