Dogs naturally gravitate toward me, and I enjoy giving plenty of affection, gentle attention, and rubs, and with owner permission, the occasional treat. I always take care to respect each dog’s boundaries, routine, and training. My approach to dog care is calm, attentive, and safety focused. I pay close attention to behavior, energy levels, and cues, and I believe that consistency, kindness, and positive interactions go a long way in helping dogs feel secure. Whether it is a walk, a drop in visit, or companionship while you are away, my goal is to ensure your dog feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for.

I provide all pet care exclusively in my clients’ homes, where pets are most comfortable and able to maintain their normal routines. I believe caring for pets in their own environment helps reduce stress and allows me to deliver more consistent, attentive care. During each visit, I follow the owner’s instructions closely regarding feeding, medications, litter or potty routines, walks, playtime, and any special needs. I take time to observe behavior, energy levels, and overall well being, and I adjust my approach to match each pet’s personality and comfort level. I always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and respect for the home. This includes securing doors and gates, keeping feeding and litter areas tidy, and ensuring pets are comfortable before I leave. I also provide updates during visits so owners can feel confident their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while they are away. I am Pet CPR and First Aid Certified.

Shannon was absolutely amazing with our dog, Sky! From the beginning, she made us feel completely comfortable and confident that Sky was in great hands. She communicated with us every day, sent plenty of photos and updates, and really gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that Shannon genuinely cared about Sky and treated him like she was her own. Being able to enjoy our time away without worrying about how Sky was doing meant so much to us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely trust Shannon to watch Sky again. Highly recommend her!
Shannon was fantastic! Needed my Dobie fed and walked for 2 days while I was away 6am - 8pm. After an initial meet & greet, I felt Shannon was right for the job and she exceeded expectations. In addition to providing the necessary poop & pee report, she added additional commentary and plenty of photos. Bianca seemed happy each night when I returned home. I will definitely use Shannon again when needed.

Shannon is a professional and a wonderful human. She's the perfect person to trust in your home and with your pets. She has a family and is a very adoring mom. Whenever she sees my pup she can't help but ask if he wants treats and a hug. She is warm and compassionate.
Shannon is an extremely reliable pet sitter! She has cared for pets of mine at various times for many years. Highly recommend, can handle medical needs and will go over and beyond for all pets!

Schedule
I am available from early mornings through mid afternoon on weekdays, with additional availability in the evenings and on weekends. I plan my schedule carefully so that pet visits and walks are never rushed and can be handled consistently around my commitments. This structure allows me to be dependable, responsive, and fully present during each visit while maintaining a routine that works well for both pets and their owners.

- It is important for me to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs ahead of time so I can provide consistent and stress free care. This includes feeding schedules, medications or medical conditions, allergies, and any behavioral quirks or triggers. I also like to know how a pet typically responds to new people, handling, walks, or play, as well as what they enjoy most and what should be avoided. For dogs, this may include leash behavior, reactivity, commands they know, and preferred walking routes. Having this information in advance allows me to tailor each visit, maintain the pet’s normal routine, and ensure their safety and comfort while their owner is away.
