*Mini Doodles/Poodles Only* < 25lbs

Important Details, please read before contacting: - NON-SHEDDING DOODLES, POODLES, POODLE MIXES ONLY - allergies are a serious problem in our home so we are not accepting any dogs that aren’t hypoallergenic. If you have a doodle (or dog) that sheds at all 🙏🏻 please do not book with me. - 25 lb max weight (if you are within a couple of pounds message me) - must be FULLY potty trained, no accidents in the house - be able to walk with a harness while in our care - must be crate trained or be okay and calm, (no jumping, scratching doors/walls) with staying in gated kitchen area when we leave the house (with a cozy bed, water, etc.) - must be on flea/tick prevention - has to get along well with other dogs, no fear behaviors, guarding or aggression - I have a 3 year old pup and a toy-sized 2 year old pup. My older one doesn’t usually show much interest in playing with other dogs and my little one is usually too small to play with other dogs. FOR DAYCARE - please note I work from home full time so if you are looking for an all-day play and exercise day care this won’t be that. They will be safe here at home with me, we will do potty breaks every 3-4 hours and a few 10-15 min yard play breaks (as weather permits) but there will be a good amount of down time where they rest while I work. QUESTIONS ON ANY OF THE ABOVE? Please send me a message, I’d love to hear from you and see how I can help! Hello! My name is Shannon and I became a doodle momma in 2021. My oldest fur baby Inyo is a 35 lb Australian Labradoodle. Our baby girl Sequoia is a TINY doodle weighing in at 6.5 lbs. I work from home full-time so I’m here with them everyday. These two are my children and my whole world and are treated as such. Your baby will be welcomed the same way! I haven’t had many sitter jobs on Rover because people often fail to read the details and have tried to book a large or shedding dog with us. We can’t accept those requests so I’ve had to turn down so many which hurts our ranking in the search. I can assure you, you will be so happy to know your baby is having a fun stay with us and being watched over like never before. I don’t leave my pups with anyone but my mom because I am that protective of them. I came onto Rover to give other pup parents like me a stress-free solution so you can go on vacation and have full peace of mind that your fur baby is 100% okay and happy while you are away. I know what it’s like to not have that comfort and it’s really hard. So just know that I’ve got you covered and your pup will be loved a ton and watched so closely with us here. I send a ton of updates, pics and videos because that’s what I would want from a sitter.

Shannon always takes such good care of Winnie! This is the longest we’ve left our dog with Shannon and she came home a happy little girl. We get daily pictures and updates and she is always at ease and enjoying herself. Shannon goes above and beyond to make our pup feel at home

Shannon is awesome! This is the second time our pup has stayed with her and we just feel so comfortable leaving her there which is really hard to find as all dog owners know!

Shannon is AMAZING. Truly my husband and I have never felt more comfortable leaving our little pup with someone. It’s clear from the moment she welcomed us into her home that she loves her dogs- and all dogs. It’s so nice that she only accepts poodle breeds because, as poodle owners know they are are certain personality and Shannon knows exactly how to care for that. Winnie was so comfortable from the moment she got there and Shannon’s own two dogs are super friendly. We’re so thankful we found her!

She was fantastic. Send photos and even videos. I saw Lincoln was having a good time. He zoned out shortly after we got to our hotel.

Schedule

Working from home, I have the flexibility to give your pup all the love and attention he or she needs during their stay with us. Our doods are sooo spoiled and smothered with affection so you should expect nothing less from us. We will love on your baby as if he/she is our own and make sure to help them feel relaxed and safe at all times. My husband takes our pups for a long walk in the park near our home (on leash) most evenings after work so your baby can go along too if you’d like them to!

Safety, trust & environment

I am a helicopter dog mom - safety is my MO. Our home has puppy safety gates up to create safe spaces for them to play and hang out. If we leave the house we would use the crate or our gated kitchen area to keep them safe and calm. There is a camera on all the areas so we can keep an eye on him/them at all times if we leave the house. We have a secure fenced in area within our yard where they can run and fetch and play off leash. We always are with them outside and supervising. Again never left out of our site unless in their “safe zone” areas inside. This all might sound like a bit much to some, but it will be just what others are looking for 😊 And to those extra protective dog moms and dads — I look forward to meeting you and your doodle!

Pets

A typical day

We go for a walk in our neighborhood every morning, we play in the pen outside and we play lots of fetch inside too. Take another short walk in the afternoon. We go for a longer walk as well and if not the park, in our neighborhood again. The toy bin is bottomless, all four of them!

I’d like to know as much about your dog as possible, their routine and their needs as you can share. The more I know the better and more seamless care I can provide for them. This should be an enjoyable experience for you, your dog and us as well. My goal is to minimize the stress on you and your dog while they are away from you so there is no such thing as TMI here! - What’s their feeding schedule like? - Do they need to take any medicines, any health issues or concerns, do they have any unusual behaviors or regular behaviors/routines that you want to try to keep consistent? - What flea and tick prevention are they on? - What’s their sleep schedule like at night? - How often do they go potty? How do they tell you? For example, our dogs rings potty bells to tell us. - Anxiety and fears, any reactiveness we need to know about? - Will require proof of current up-to-date vaccinations/health report upon booking. We have to keep our dogs safe too!
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
