Pet care experience

Happy trails and wagging tails!

With over 25 years of experience caring for and loving dogs, I understand that every pet deserves to feel safe, happy, and loved while their family is away. Whether your pup needs a fun walk, drop-in visit, doggie daycare, boarding, overnight care, or simply some extra companionship, I’ll treat them like one of my own. I am Pet CPR and First Aid certified, giving you added peace of mind while your furry family member is in my care. I also have experience administering medications, providing basic training reinforcement, and caring for senior dogs and pets with special needs. I welcome dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Communication is very important to me, so you’ll receive regular updates, photos, and messages throughout your pet’s stay so you always know how they’re doing. My home features a secure fenced yard with plenty of room to run, play, explore, and relax. Located on a quiet dead-end road, it’s a peaceful and safe environment where your dog can feel comfortable and at home. If your pet is happiest in their own surroundings, I’m also happy to provide care in your home. Maintaining your dog’s normal routine helps reduce stress and separation anxiety while giving you peace of mind that they’re receiving the same love and attention they get every day. Your pets aren’t just clients—they’re family, and they’ll always be treated with the same love, patience, and care I’d give my own.

Nothing but great things to say!! I have 3 dogs that tend to be on the wild side and like to get into trouble, and 2/3 of them have special needs; Shannon went above and beyond with my pups and I’ve never worried about their safety or stress levels during the several times she has watched them. Not only does she offer a separate area of the house for the dogs to have lots of space to themselves (with cameras so she can always monitor), she has a large, secure backyard that even my escape artist pup can play in safely. Shannon really cares about my dogs’ happiness while they are with her and treats them as her own — she is willing to accommodate my VERY people-selective and scared dog and go above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and safe while I am away!

I have known Shannon for over two decades and it was an EASY choice to say yes to her watching my sweet angel Taylor. Shannon’s heart for animals is out of this world and any pet would benefit from the love she showers upon them. Shannon is responsible and very communicative with your fur babies. She asks questions thoroughly to make sure your beloved animal gets the attention deserved. I would hands down recommend Shannon to watch my fur babies any day and trust her to the fullest 🤍🤍

Shannon is a dog lover at heart. She watched our Doberman for a few days while we were on vacation and our dog got a vacation of her own. She came back home well loved and tired from play. Our dog looks forward to spending time with Shannon.

Shannon loves pets and have watched our dogs for many years. The dogs were well treated and well fed. She has kept them at times for at least a month and very accommodating to our schedule. There is an enclosed fenced area for the dogs to run. Medicines were given in a timely manner.

I have a fenced in yard with shelter and water. I live on a dead end road so very quiet and safe. Your furbabies will have fun running and playing outdoors and indoors!
