Chalk Farm dog lover!
Hello! My name is Shannon, thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am a law student at UCL, and am an HUGE dog lover. I am often out walking in Primrose Hill and Regents Park, and I find myself gazing wistfully at all the gorgeous dogs in the area! I have grown up with dogs, mainly Labradors and Dachshunds, but we are a family of dog lovers - my youngest sisters first word was even doggy! As a student I’m not yet in a position to have a dog of my own but I would love the opportunity to spend time with your dog and would absolutely treat them with all the love and care that you would. I also enjoy aspects of training dogs so would be very happy to help with any ongoing training you are undertaking! If you need a reliable, friendly, and active person to help look after your dogs please do get in contact. I am happy to dog sit overnight at your house while you go on holiday, host one dog at my flat, and very happy to bring your dog on my walks in the park while you are working (or doing something else!
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
If looking after your dog in your home, I will follow your routine with your dog to ensure that there is as little disruption as possible. I find it is also beneficial for me to take your dog on a couple of walks, or to stay over for one night before you leave to reduce anxiety! During my stay I aim to leave your home cleaner than I found it and will never touch anything that I don’t need to.

Ollie always lives his stays with Shannon!! A home from home!
Shannon was fantastic with Tilly and we will absolutely be using her when we go out of town again! She took really good care of her and Tilly enjoyed her stay very much!
Shannon has looked after Aura twice now; once for Daycare at relatively short notice and then for a couple of nights boarding. She has been brilliant and professional on both occasions, she made sure that Aura took her medication when she needed it (which isn't always easy), and provided plenty of updates. She even went the extra mile after daycare and brought Aura back home which helped us out massively. Both times Aura had lots of fun and received lots of fuss and attention and we're sure she's very excited to see Shannon again soon!
Ollie loved his time with Shannon and we are so pleased that he has found another human to love him! Shannon is such a lovely person and it is so reassuring for us that Ollie is being cared for as if he were her own.
Our dogs had a nice long week end with Shannon, she was so nice sending pictures and video.
Shannon looked after Buddy over the weekend, sent update pictures and messages on how it was going. Would definitely recommend and will be using her again.

Schedule
As a full time student, I have plenty of time to spend playing with your pups! I love walking around the local parks in Regents Park or Hampstead Heath. I have only two lectures a week so on Thursday and Friday I am away from home for two to three hours at a maximum.

- Do let me know if your dog has any special requirements, likes, dislikes or fears which I can accommodate for. Also please let me know their level of training, and if they are friendly with other dogs and children that we might meet on walks. I always ask to have a meet and greet prior to the booking being confirmed, so we can go over all the details then.
