I’ve owned a variety of pets (turtles, dogs, cats, ducks, geese) for 35 years, & watched neighbors’ pets, caring, playing with, loving every minute! My husband (my high school sweetheart) and I live on our adorable 200 year old, 43 acre farm with trails to walk on, a large pond, several yards and fields to run in, and the coziest, clean farm house where there’s always a comfy spot to curl up in or a room to roam or play in. We 2 have older sons, one at Coastal Carolina University and one who lives at home while working day and night on his Landscape Business. I have experience with senior dogs and cats, puppies and kittens. Our senior dog of 18 and our senior cat of 17 passed away last year, so we decided that it is now time to spread our love to new pets by opening our home up to new families. I have my masters degree in Speech Pathology, and I have worked with children for over 25 years, with my specific focus on young, special needs children. I take that experience along with me when I watch pets, always caring, fun, kind and compassionate. I am detail oriented, dedicated, playful, and I don’t give a spill or mess a second thought. I just take care of it and all problems easily. I am energetic and love walking/ hiking daily. We will provide outside fun time, can go for walks, ect. We will treat your pets like our own by loving them, cuddling, and caring for their every need.

Shannon is a caring, dedicated pet caregiver. She has been a loving pet caregiver to her own dogs and cats for more than 20 years and also takes wonderful care of dogs and cats of friends and family members including my 3 large dogs. She ensures that they are safe and well cared for and also takes the extra time to play with them and give them plenty of snuggles! I would highly recommend Shannon to care for any pets in need as she will always treat them as her own
I’m very happy to recommend Shannon as a pet sitter. She genuinely loves animals, and I’ve personally had my dog, Rocky, stay with her. I trust her completely with him and know he is always treated with the same care and attention she gives her own pets. Shannon lives on a beautiful historic farm property with a farmhouse dating back to the 1700s and many acres of land. It’s a peaceful setting with plenty of space and a great environment for animals. Shannon is responsible, dependable, and truly caring. She treats pets like part of the family, and I never have to worry when Rocky is with her. I would gladly leave him in her care again and highly recommend Shannon to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pet.

Schedule
There is always someone available to fill your pets every needs! We will take your dogs out to the bathroom as often as needed, provide baths if needed, follow your feeding schedules, and provide plenty of rest or exercise, at your request! We’ll provide photos, videos of your pet through your trip, and we are Always available by phone.

A typical day
I love to play with the pets that I watch, pet, cuddle, go for walks or just sit outside together on a nice day. Inside, the pet can roam freely through the house, play or just find a comfy spot to relax. We have numerous trails for walking, fields and grassy yards to walk, sit or run. Every day can be relaxing or an adventure.
