Please let me know about feeding schedules, medications, allergies, favorite activities, potty routines, leash habits, and any fears or triggers your pet may have. I also appreciate knowing how your pet interacts with other animals and people, where their supplies are located, and any household instructions you'd like me to follow. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I tailor each visit to their personality, energy level, and routine. Whether we're heading out for a walk, playing a favorite game, spending time outdoors, or simply enjoying some quiet companionship, my goal is to make each visit enjoyable and stress-free. During drop-in visits, I'll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, plenty of attention and affection, bathroom breaks, and exercise or playtime based on their needs. For cats, that might mean interactive play, brushing if they enjoy it, cuddles, or simply keeping them company. I'm also happy to administer medications, reinforce routines, and provide extra patience and care for senior pets. I'll send regular updates and photos after each visit so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away.

I'm experienced with puppies and kittens, senior pets, high-energy breeds, anxious dogs, and animals with special routines or medication needs. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit for feeding and companionship, medication administration, a potty break, or daytime house sitting with a return visit the following morning, I'm committed to following your instructions exactly. I work from home, which allows me the flexibility to provide dependable care and accommodate your pet's routine whenever possible. Shannon is an animal advocate. She loves all animals and believes they should be treated with the love and respect that humans deserve. She has always been passionate about animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, pigs, birds, etc). She has two dogs and treats them like humans and in concerned for their physical and emotional well being. I would completely trust her with care of my animals or anyone else’s. She is conscientious and loving and is always looking out for their safety and health.
Shannon is one of the most kind hearted genuine people I have ever met. She has a deep love for animals. She has two Yorkies and she calls them her daughters. She is extremely trust worthy and I would trust her around any of my belongings. Anytime my husband and I go on vacations, Shannon does all of our house sitting and pet sitting for us. We don’t even require her to walk our dog while we are out of town but she always does it one to two times per day because she enjoys it. My animals are always happy when we get home. They never seem stressed out like they miss us. It’s clear they get lots of attention from her. She also sleeps with them when she does overnight stays because we ask her to. We love Shannon and can’t recommend her enough for dog and cat sitting, as well as dog walking.
