My name is Shannon and I work full time as a Licensed Veterinary Technician at a pet hospital. I'm able to administer any medication or fluids that may be needed. Your animal must love other animals and be ok with a child as I have an 11 year old daughter and 2 cats. Yard is fully fenced in. I have been "professionally" pet sitting in my house for about 11 years. Your animal would get great care and lots of love! I'm located in South Minneapolis right off 35W and a short drive to the airport. I have many references available as well as the knowledge to properly care for your family member!

Shannon and family are great with dogs. Lena had the time of her life. Lena needed an ointment on a little wound and it was no problem.

Shannon and her family went above and beyond to accommodate our dogs. One is reactive to female dogs and they made sure to keep the other animal safely separated from our Benny. It was over Thanksgiving so I'm sure they gave up some precious family time to make sure our dogs were safe and happy. I appreciate you very much, Shannon!

Schedule
I work full time as a Certified Veterinary Technician 7 minutes away so I come home for lunch every day! Plus my husband works from home so is here 24/7.

I have a fenced in yard, feed all dogs separately and have a knowledge of emergencies as well as the capability of veterinarians I trust to call.
A typical day
The days vary, and the number of animals staying varies, but the dogs always go home exhausted and well socialized. Puppies sometimes go home with more tricks! Our two dogs recently passed away so it will be a new norm around here that we don’t know yet. The dogs always form a new hierarchy which is always so fun to see!
