We first used Shannon in June 2024 and had a great experience, which is why we returned to her. She even left glowing reviews of our dogs - Bruno and Ella. Unfortunately, our second time around was completely different — and it raised serious concerns about the care and professionalism we once thought we could trust. When I arrived home after picking them up this morning, I found a powered-on shock/bark collar on my dog, Bruno — a collar that doesn’t belong to us. Shannon gave multiple inconsistent explanations: first saying she thought it was his, then saying she doesn’t use such collars, and finally blaming other owners for bringing them. Regardless, my dog should have never been subjected to a collar that can deliver electric stimulation — especially one not identified or approved by me. Even more disturbing, after Bruno came home he has been trembling and flinched when I went to pet him. He has never returned from boarding like this. I know my dog — and something happened under Shannon’s watch that clearly affected him. Rather than take accountability, she dismissed my concerns, threw out excuses, and ultimately responded with a sarcastic and condescending remark: “I’m sorry he seems insecure in your care.” That level of passive-aggression from someone entrusted to care for pets is completely unacceptable. This is not about being a difficult customer — this is about a drastic change in care and a deeply troubling incident involving my dog’s well-being. I will not be using Shannon again and would not recommend her to anyone who values the safety and emotional health of their pet.

Schedule
I work from home; the pets would have round-the-clock care. My neighborhood is great for dog walks with a hiking/biking trails that is creek-side. We have a toy box with bones, balls, kongs, and cloth toys for the doggies to take their pick or play tug of war. We’ll have lots of fun and plenty of snuggling. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends!

A typical day
I love to take the dogs on a walk on the biking path near my home. The path follows a stream. It is a beautiful space to walk with mountain views and dog-friendly neighbors.

- Information that is important to me include details as to the pets likes and dislikes. I want to provide the most comfortable experience for them, so knowing their preferences is important. Eating schedule is also preferred as this helps to make their stay more cohesive. And physical or medical challenges should also be included.
