Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is something that comes naturally to me. As well as having dogs of my own, I have professional experience working in animal kennels, where I cared for dogs and cats of all different breeds, sizes, ages and personalities. I currently have a French Bulldog of my own, so I know first-hand that every breed has its own individual needs. I’m particularly familiar with brachycephalic breeds and understand the extra care they can require when it comes to exercise, warmer weather, breathing and knowing when they’ve had enough. My kennel experience has made me confident around all kinds of dogs, from smaller or more nervous dogs that need a little extra patience and reassurance, to large, energetic breeds that love plenty of exercise. I’m very active myself, so I’m more than happy with long walks, energetic dogs and lots of playtime! I also hold an Enhanced DBS check, so owners can have that extra peace of mind when trusting me with not only their much loved pet, but their home too. Most importantly, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in somebody else’s care. I’ll take the time to get to know their personality and routine and make sure they feel safe, happy and loved while you’re away. Your pet won’t just be looked after they’ll be treated like one of my own.
