I have a lifelong love of animals and have always considered pets part of the family. I have cared for animals my entire life, including having cats as companions for as long as I can remember. I currently share my home with my two cats, Tyler Durden and Marla Singer, and our newest addition, Milo, a 9-month-old German Shepherd/Border Collie puppy who keeps us active and smiling. Last year, I said goodbye to my beloved dog Charles after 15 wonderful years together. Charles lived to be 16 years old, and caring for him through every stage of his life deepened my understanding of the patience, compassion, and attention pets need at every age. From playful puppies and energetic dogs to senior pets needing extra care and comfort, I understand that every animal has their own personality and needs. I am a dedicated and dependable pet sitter who is comfortable caring for animals of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, companionship, medication reminders, or simply a safe and loving environment while you’re away, I will provide the same care and attention I give my own pets. I provide pet care in my client’s home, where I believe pets are most comfortable and relaxed in their own familiar environment. I focus on maintaining their normal routines, including feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box care, walks, playtime, medication reminders if needed, and plenty of attention and companionship. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, so I take the time to build trust and make sure they feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care that gives both pets and their families peace of mind.

Shannon is a very conscientious pet owner. She has had both dogs and cats as pets, and has cared for them with equal love and enthusiasm. She does online research regarding current health issues and prevention tips, and is current on her pets nutritional needs as they age. When outdoor activity is appropriate, she is cautious about any potential dangers, i.e. heat issues, including hot pavement concerns and hydration, on leash habits and pet socialization. Shannon cares for her four legged family with as much love and care as her two legged family. I would have her care for my pets any day.

Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I structure my days around making sure my own pets are happy, healthy, and well cared for, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of affection. With two cats and a young, energetic puppy, I’m already experienced with maintaining routines, providing attention, and recognizing when pets need extra patience or care. When caring for other pets, I make them a priority by setting aside dedicated time for visits, walks, play, companionship, and any specific needs they may have. I enjoy creating a calm, comfortable environment where pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away.
