Shannon A. is an animal whisperer! She has spent two years training our super stubborn, super smart Husky. She is now one step down from therapy dog training. A miracle for a Husky. Shannon just has this natural and special connection, and not only with dogs but other animals as well. I have watched her take control of an aggressive dog and in no time, she had him calm and quietly laying on the floor. Our Husky gives two paws up for Miss Shannon!
Shannon is my daughter and has always loved and cared for the cats, dogs, horse ECT ... We loved in the country and have always had animals. I would highly recommend her to care for any animal.
Shannon is a very competent dog trainer. She can work wonders with animals. I moved to Florida, but still call her for advice! I highly recommend!!
Best dog walker somebody could ask for. She is always positive with animals and really knows what she’s doing. She helped train my first dog and Izzy is perfect now. Super positive and not shy.
Shannon has been my go-to for dog care and training door the last several years. She cares for my dogs as though they were her own. She’s an expert at setting boundaries in a positive way, and my dogs absolutely adore her. I strongly recommend her!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I am currently caring for my elderly father and I am substitute teaching part time. This gives me plenty of flexibility in my weekly schedule on Thursdays and Fridays, between the hours of 9AM-6PM. Monday-Wednesday I am only available 12PM-6PM.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I enjoy supporting the animals mental and physical overall health by offering both types of stimulation and exercise. This often has a positive effect on behavioral problems.
Pets
A typical day
I try to engage in behaviors that are specific to the breeds needs. For instance, if you own a herding breed; lots of tug and dragging games with toys who have fur-like textures. Basic obedience skills will be learned at every visit: “sit”, “down”, and “wait”. When the dogs are engaged based on natural instinct and intelligence, they often stop engaging in bad behaviors more quickly over-time.
