Availability
I stay at home now and have a fully fenced yard. Don’t have a dog of my own at the moment mainly because my husband and I are trying to find the right rescue for us! I have plenty of time for your pup and will keep you updated through each step of our day night together!

Fully fenced yard. Daily walk as well. I have a large soft play pen available if my client feels more comfortable keeping their dog gated in. Otherwise we can set up their toys, bed, feeding area anywhere the animals feel most happy. If pup is crate trained we have our own here (one small size and one extra large) but only if the owner prefers otherwise they are free to roam.

Any medications necessary and precisely how to give to your dog. If they have any issues with small children or loud noises so I will be sure to avoid the parks and play areas.
A typical day
I love to get out and enjoy the sun and fresh air! My favorite place is the boardwalk and the beach, but cedar creek park is another preference. Cooking is a hobby of mine and can even make your pet home cooked, lean protein meals. Plenty of exercise, as well as rest and treats in between. I’m up around 5:30 AM, grab a coffee, and start my morning chores. After laundry and dishes are done I make breakfast and then hit the Peleton. After getting ready for the day I will walk to the store, pick up whatever is needed for dinner that night and keep myself busy with seeing family and friends. I am extremely focused on my weight loss journey so my day revolves around staying active and feeling as positive as possible,

Trusting me with your furry friend!
Pet care experience
Fully insured through PCI and only one pup family at a time! Very personal experience at my home caring for your fur baby! Stay at home mom that treats your pup as a member of our family. Constant care offered (price may increase depending on your pups needs). Schedule sent every night of our day together and they will have a companion for their entire stay. Had a family pet for 18 years and two rescues since then. I’ve worked in children’s daycare and was a nanny for a year as well. I have house sat dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs too. My husband and two young boys keep your pet entertained and happy during their time with us. During your pet’s stay they will choose where they’d like to sleep and feel genuinely comfortable. I really do enjoy making your pup happy. Dogs give us everything they have and I love giving as much as I can back to them! No better love than from an animal.
Reviews

Shannen is my go-to sitter for my dog Leo. She’s absolutely amazing with him and super communicative. You can’t go wrong with Shannen!

She really is the best

Shannon is the best in-home dog sitter we’ve ever used, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their dogs. From the outset, she approached looking after our two active Jack Russell crosses with a wonderfully positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm. Our dogs’ happiness, wellbeing, were clearly her top priorities, and the level of professionalism she demonstrated was the highest we’ve experienced. She proactively tailored each day to suit their individual preferences, whether that meant plenty of ball-chasing in and out of the house or quieter downtime when they needed it. Her home is a fantastic environment for dogs, and ours were completely comfortable and clearly very happy throughout their stay. It gave us enormous peace of mind knowing they were so well cared for. Shannon took comprehensive notes on their likes, routines, and needs, and every day we received multiple photos along with a thoughtful breakdown of how their day had gone—something we genuinely looked forward to reading. Absolutely fantastic care from start to finish

Cooper stayed with Shannen & her family for eight nights while I went to Disney with my granddaughter. She texted pictures of Cooper all throughout the days there - frolicking in the backyard, snuggling on the couch, having his favorite ice cream treat! Every evening before bedtime, Shannen sent a picture of Cooper curled under his blanket, ready for sleep. She also included a detailed timeline summary of his meals each day, along with medications, potty breaks, and bed cuddles. When I picked him up, Shannen presented me with a beautiful hanging collage of some of Cooper's highlights. Cooper thoroughly enjoyed his time with Shannen, and consequently, I was able to have a fabulous time at Disney with my family. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
