I have grown up with dogs, cats and small animals my whole life and achieved my BSc in Animal Behaviour & Welfare at 21. I have a dog of my own - a male Labrador X Golden Retriever who is full of beans unless he’s sleeping on the sofa! I am an established pet professional with over 3 years experience in the pet care industry, working with a wide variety of dogs, and many years of personal experience too. I cover almost all breeds and sizes. I am also able to work with you on basic training and socialisation. Primarily focusing on solo walks (or dogs from the same household).

Safety, trust & environment
Animal safety and welfare is paramount to me and will always be my number one priority. I am Canine Emergency First Aid trained and carry a dog-specific first aid kit with me at all times. I work with your dog and according to their limits. I also have a strict heat policy.
Ratings and reviews
Shannen came to sit for our puppy. This is our first dog and she was really reassuring with lots of helpful tips on training and care. This can be a stressful point in any dog owner’s life and Shannen was fantastic at easing some of that stress. Would highly recommend!

I felt very confident leaving our dog Rudy with Shannen and communication was great throughout. Rudy can be anxious around unfamiliar dogs and so the regular updates, photos and reassurance were appreciated. Thank you Shannen for welcoming Rudy into your home.
Shannen was great when she came to drop in on my puppy and adult miniature dachshund. They both loved her when she came for the meet and greet. She asked about the needs of both dogs and gave them attention, play time and a small walk.

Schedule
I am a part-time pet professional and will aim to offer all services where possible. I do not work weekends or evenings. I usually offer walks between 10am and 3pm, Mon to Thurs as standard.
