I work from home so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I am home most evenings and am rarely gone for more than 3-4 hours at a time.

A typical day
I have plenty of dog toys and balls, playing fetch with the ball flinger is one of our favorite things to do. I also have a filtered water fountain for fresh water.

Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs and cats all my life and love them like my children. I’ve fostered cocker spaniels and have done volunteer work for Oldies But Goodies Cocker Spaniel Rescue in Virginia. I’m a retired Marine and home every day. I’m happy to give your pets all the love and attention they deserve. I’ll provide positive reinforcement for your pets and they’ll get plenty of exercise in my fenced in backyard. I have a doggie door that they can use as they please. Your pets are welcome on my furniture and I have a large crate if needed.

Shannan was amazing! She provided us with updates & Followed our routine at home. She was very sincere and you could tell she really cared for our dog. I felt very comfortable leaving our dog with her and will definitely do it again!
Shannan was great with my active dog, Cass! She took her for runs, let her have free reign of the furniture, and gave her lots of attention while my family and I were out of town for the weekend. She also sent pictures and was a prompt communicator. I will definitely be contacting Shannan again in the future!
Shannan has provided care for our dog, Maggie many times. You can tell that she really cares for all animals just by the way she "loves" on them. She'll take the time to run or walk with them, spend time outside to play with them, and give them pets and unconditional love. She's dependable and reliable, and will keep you worry free while in her care. Shannan will even send you pictures of your pet while you're away! You and your pets will love her from the moment you meet her.
Shannan is an amazing pet sitter & all around person in general. She is kind, generous, funny & loving. Animals are & have always been a huge part of her life. She loves all kinds of animals. There is no doubt that she will take great care of anyone’s pets. I recommend her 10/10.
