When caring for pets in the client’s home, I prioritize safety, comfort, and adherence to the owner’s preferences. I begin by following any instructions the owner provides regarding feeding, medication, walking routines, and behavioral management. I ensure all doors, gates, and windows remain securely closed and monitor the environment for any hazards such as cords, chemicals, or items pets could ingest. I keep pets on leashes when appropriate and supervise interactions with other animals or children. I also maintain a clean space, promptly disposing of waste and sanitizing areas as needed, while respecting the owner’s home and belongings. Emergency contact information and veterinarian details are kept readily available, and I provide regular updates to reassure the owner that their pets are safe, happy, and receiving attentive care. Every action is guided by the owner’s preferences to ensure a consistent, stress-free experience for both pets and their family.
