Presley is my 7-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound/American Foxhound mix. We adopted him when he was around 4 months old. In his early years, Presley was full of energy, which required training, patience, and dedication. I've also taken care of my sisters' dogs, including Sosa, an energetic Pit Bull, and Mel, a mix of boxer and bulldog (both rescue dogs). Mel had a very difficult early life, which shows with his scars and nervousness, but has come out of his shell a bit with the help of Presley. Although I'm allergic to cats, I am still willing to drop in and play/feed/care for them, as I did with my sister's cat, Hunny Bunny, while she goes away each year for her week-long vacations. My best friend growing up had many dogs, including a Border Collie, Golden Retriever, Great Pyrenees, and Newfoundland, that I enjoyed spending time with. We've always had dogs in the household growing up, including 16-year-old Chico the Chihuahua. My other best friend's family trusted me to watch their 3-month-old Cocker Spaniel, Benny, for the week in their home while they were on vacation. Our family has also trusted us to watch their hound, Molly, and lab, Bella, for a week and weekends while they were on vacation as well. I am dedicated to meeting every pet's needs, prioritizing their well-being, and treating them with the same love, patience, and care I give to my own furry companion!

We had a wonderful experience with Shanna. We went on a two week trip and were a bit concerned on how our dog would do with us being away for so long. He tends to get a little anxious in unfamiliar places. To our surprise he did SO well while at Shanna’s. She ensured he felt welcomed and loved from day one. Boy, did he settled in quickly! Shanna sent daily photos, videos and updates on how our dog was doing. Seems like he had the time of his life lol Shanna is a wonderful dogsitter. She will be our top choice for any upcoming boarding needs.
Left my dog there for the week , he loves to stay there and not wanting to leave with me lol. She is great sent me photos daily and keeps me updated on my dog. Will definitely come back

Sent tons of photos/updates and Willow seemed to have a great time with Presley! The back yard was nice and big too.
This was my first time leaving my dog Cooper with a Rover sitter rather than his usual boarding spot, and I’m so glad I did! Shanna was great!! She sent lots of photos, videos and updates during his stay, and I could see that Cooper settled in and felt comfortable much more quickly than he usually does in a new environment. He came home happy and relaxed!

Schedule
As a teacher, I have more free time in the summer compared to the school year. I am excited to spend this time engaging in activities that bring me joy!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a yard that is big enough for your dog to run around and play with Presley! It is not fenced, but we have an electric fence if you would like us to use it, or we can use a leash. Spending time outdoors is a must (weather permitting) while I supervise playtime. My dog is extremely socialized with other dogs and people. I can crate your dog if needed, gate off areas in the house if needed, or utilize a mini fence in the backyard if needed. Anything that ensures the safety of your pet!

A typical day
Let's have a blast whether we're relaxing indoors or having a blast outside in our yard! We can play with toys and balls, go for leisurely strolls if the weather allows, or head to the dog park if that sounds exciting to you. Presley enjoys playing, walks, visiting the dog park, or simply lounging on the couch. And, of course, every day is filled with cuddles, pets, and kisses. Share your ideas for more fun activities!
