Hello! My name is Shanna, and my husband and I have a 75 pound Golden Retriever named Chance. He is one year old and is the happiest and friendliest dog. He would love to have friends over to play with. My husband and I live in a 4 bedroom home in Northeast Colorado Springs. We live very close to several parks. We enjoy walking multiple times a day. My husband and I both work for public schools, so during the summer months we will be home all day everyday. I work about 10 minutes away so I can come home and check on the dogs during the day. Your dog will be in constant company. Growing up, we always had at least one dog, and now with my siblings having dogs, when we get together there are five dogs under one roof. My husband and I share a love for dogs, and we look forward to meeting and spoiling more dogs. I have been my friends' preferred dog sitter for years. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover my whole life. There is something about dogs that makes me happy. There is nothing more special than coming home to a dog who greets you at the door with kisses. My mom is an animal lover, and growing up we had dogs, turtles, birds, and rabbits. About my yard Yes, I have a nice sized yard for the dogs. The yard is fenced in, and the backyard does have a porch as well as a grassy area for the dogs to do their business. It is a great area for the dogs to play, but I also live very close to several parks, and that is where I will take your dog to the park to play and run. My experience administering medication Yes, as long as I am given specific instructions.

Shanna and her family welcomed our retriever into a loving home for two weeks. He was well treated, well fed and loved every moment of his stay. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Rover sitter, thank you again Shanna!
Shanna took amazing care of our two dogs for a couple weeks while we moved into our new house. She kept us updated constantly about how they were doing and gave them daily walks and lots of love. Highly recommend and we will absolutely ask her to watch our girls again:)

I have a super sweet Golden who will keep your pup company and provide lots of play time. We try to keep things as normal as possible for dogs. We go for walks daily and spend lots of time playing.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks My husband and I walk daily around the neighborhood, but we also frequent Cottonwood park and we love to hike. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog can sleep wherever he or she feels comfortable. The only place that is off limits is my bed. Time I'll spend with your dog As much as possible! I am a teacher and work Monday through Friday, but my husband works from home several days a week. I also have most holidays off, and I have time off of work in the spring and summer.
