I have ten years of experience working with seniors in the past and I have 3 amazing, older kids that love to care for animals. I took some time off of work to help homeschool my kids. But my kids have a pretty easy schedule. Therefore, I have a lot of time to care for animals. I have a pregnant neighbor so she usually needs help with her dog. I like to give them 2-3 walks a day, bathe them if needed, feed them dog food with lots of nutrients, and make sure they are hydrated. My clients dog is pretty chill so I usually just pet him and feed him.

This was my first time using Rover and I was very nervous. Shanna put me right at ease. She and her kids were very nice to me and very sweet to my dog Moose. He only stayed one night but he seemed to have a good time and I would be happy for Moose to stay with Shanna again.
Shanna is great! We always go to her when we need to board our dog Ruby. She takes great care of her every need and is super kind and loving. Ruby loves her and always gets excited when she sees her and her kids!! Would recommend boarding with Shanna a million times.
Above and Beyond doesn't do our dog's stay with Shanna justice. She has got to be one of the most passionate animal lovers I have ever met, let alone had the good fortune to be able to leave our dog here for an extended stay. Between her and her daughters, our dog was treated like the princess she never knew she was! There were pictures sent every day, and more upon request, which really helped to bring little moments of joy to me and my wife. Shanna also showed great flexibility with pick-up/drop-off times. Our dog MISSED THEM, so I think that says more than I could. I could see how our dog was reticent to leave and I could tell she was sad for a couple days, missing all the love and care showed to her by Shanna's family. BOOK HERE and you will not regret a thing.
Shanna and her family were super welcoming and loving. My dog felt at home and I felt peace of mind being away for work knowing he was staying with them. Highly recommend this beautiful family.

Shanna and her family showered my shihtzu with so much love. I’m beyond grateful for their open arms and their love of animals. If Romeo could talk I think he’d tell me he misses them and wants to go back soon! ??

I have a fenced in yard and everything that can cause harm is door away. I also have smoke detectors, carbon dioxide, and a fire extinguisher.
A typical day
A day would be going out in the yard first thing in the morning so that the dogs can stretch your legs. Then breakfast and relaxing after that we do whatever I have plans for the day.
