*100% pet photos submitted for each sit; I send at least 2 daily updates (sent to pet parent’s direct text messages). I always tell people that I learned how to care for dogs from the best: my mom. I "apprenticed" under her as she trained our family dogs (Golden Retriever and Brittany Spaniel) to be beloved pet therapists, fostered shelter dogs, assisted her with her thriving dog walking business. I previously trained and volunteered as a dog-walker/dog "deputy" at the Baltimore SPCA. I am very comfortable with all manner of dog care (playing, walking, picking up poop, providing medicines, etc.). I am very observant and able to spot unusual or troubling behavior or injuries. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and happy to care for cuddly cats as well! I hope to be able to help you with your pet care needs. Thank you!

As my schedule is flexible, I stick to the pet’s usual routine/walk/meal times as much as possible for their comfort. I also send at least two daily photo/video updates (and will tailor to your request).

Shanna is the absolute best! We booked her last minute after another cancellation and I truly think it was meant to be- she was so wonderful with our dogs and some medical attention one needed; she is extremely professional, has excellent communication, is so kind and genuinely seems to love taking care of our dogs. Honestly she's one of the best dog sitters I've ever had. I am so glad we found her!
Shanna was absolutely wonderful with our dogs! From the very first message, she was incredibly responsive and communicative — I always felt at ease knowing exactly how things were going. She clearly has a genuine love for animals, and our pups took to her right away. I never had to worry for a second while we were away. We will definitely be booking with Shanna again and couldn’t recommend her more highly!
Shanna has been walking my pup for many months now and she is always prompt and sends the best photos!! My dog absolutely loves her and she went above and beyond staying extra time when my lock unexpectedly broke. She is the best!
We just had two fantastic housesits by Shanna - we hadn’t traveled in a while and our senior dog gets easily stressed when his routine changes. Shanna rolls with his quirks and ensures he has a great time while we’re gone, and she sends the best updates! Our house also somehow ends up in better condition than when we left it. True story: we have and will plan our vacations based on her availability because she’s simply the best!!
We’ve trusted Shanna to look after our German Shepherd mix, Lupin, more times than I can count. Even as he as aged and has more needs like receiving daily oral and topical medication, or fastening a cone of shame on, Shanna always delivers with care!
Shanna took care of our English lab, Hank, while we were out of the country for 10 days. We felt great knowing he was in good hands, and he seemed his normal, happy self when we returned home. Shanna sent pics and videos regularly and was an awesome communicator. She also took great care of our apartment. There’s a reason for all of these 5 star reviews!!! Thank you, Shanna!!!

Schedule
I work remotely part-time, so I have ample time to exercise, feed, and love on your pet! I have no problem with pets that may need more attention and keeping my time outside of the home brief (1-3 hrs.)
