Caring and playful
I grew up around animals and have loved being around them my whole life. I used to have numerous dogs,cats, bunnies, chickens and even a goat. Living in the city I am down to having one dog. I want her to have enough comfortable space. Dog and puppy sitting on a short term basis is an ideal plan for my family and I. We love to surround ourselves with pets. I stay active and take our dog on walks daily around the neighborhood. On weekends we go the distance to enjoy a more spacious area, at a park or field. I will be fully responsible for making your pet feel at home while in my company. We will exercise, practice tricks and snuggle on the couch.

Shanna and her family were excellent hosts for our two dogs. From initial contact through picking the dogs up, communication was clear and prompt. The dogs came home tired and happy!

Shanna and her family were very responsive and took good care of our dog. Our dog came home relaxed and tired from all his fun with her and her dogs. Our dog seemed to enjoy his stay.
Shanna was the first sitter we used through the Rover application and we always look to she if she’s available first when we need a dog sitter. She loves our dog and our dog is so happy to see her! Highly recommend.

Schedule
A typical day starts off around 6am, sometimes earlier. I like to wake up early, let the pets out side. We then get some love and affection before breakfast. After breakfast is play time, we like to go for walks, play fetch or rope. Then it’s nap time, lol. Evenings we do tricks and treats, have dinner and another round of play before bedtime! They get to go outside multiple times per day as well

We have a fenced in yard and the sweetest female dog Daisy. She is very well behaved and has grown up with new playmates. My son has also been around pets his whole life and really enjoys getting to know our visitors! He definitely respects animals and knows their boundaries and safety of the pet. We have an attached garage which has been perfect to get pets leashed up before going outside.

A typical day
I love bringing them for walks, we have a nice park close by that we do a loop around. Our garage is attached so it’s fun to play in there with the rope or play chase. Especially if it’s a rainy day or cold.
