Hi there! I’m a lifelong pet owner and animal lover with a soft spot for all furry friends. When I was fourteen, I lived out my dream vacation: shadowing my mom’s childhood friend who ran a pet-nannying business in Florida... and it completely lived up to the hype. Well over a decade later, caring for animals (from dogs and cats to even guinea pigs) has remained something I dearly love. Growing up with both large dogs (80+ lbs) and a miniature poodle gave me experience early on with pets of different sizes, temperaments, and care needs. During my college years, I regularly pet-sat for a household with three German Shepherds, each with their own routines and personalities, which strengthened my ability to manage multiple pets and adapt to different temperaments. I’m also a frequent cat sitter for friends and have volunteered as a foster caregiver at my local county shelter, so I’m very comfortable caring for cats of all ages and personalities. Since I don’t currently have a cat at home, it just means I have that much more love and attention to give to yours. As the owner of a (delightfully) high-maintenance husky, I understand how important it is to have someone who truly pays attention to a pet’s individual needs and routines. Every animal is different, and I take the time to learn what helps them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. My goal is to provide attentive, thoughtful care so you can feel confident that your pet is in good hands.
