I attend college and this is my set schedule until May 15th: Monday’s: 10:30am - 12pm Tuesday’s/Thursday’s: 1pm - 2:15pm Wednesday’s: 8:30am - 2:15pm My lessons are scheduled every Sunday and typically only are about three hours. *Once my schedule changes, I will go to a lesson for about 3 to 4 hours or so but will coordinate with you. Other than those two things, for house-sitting, I will be there full-time.

I ensure to give lots of love to your fur babies throughout my time with them! I enjoy running, so if your dog is up to it, fun runs or walks around the neighborhood early in the morning to avoid heat. As for cats, I would give them lots of cuddles and pets! If they are up for it, I would let them sit in my lap and pet them until they’re bored of it!

A typical day
I love to spend time with the dogs giving them plenty of affection, care, and making sure they also get tons of playtime! They will have a nice fun walk around the neighborhood (allowing the weather permits) and/or play catch in the yard.

I had my first job as a dog sitter when I was 8. Growing up I lived on a farm and daily cared for over 70 animals. I even taught my sheep how to show in sheep shows for 6 years! I owned two indoor cats for 13 years, and had two barn cats for 6 years! More on my obedience training: -I taught sheep how to walk on a lead, how to allow me to move their hooves to the correct positioning, how to stay calm when a stranger walks up to them and checks their teeth and other parts of their body, and how to stay calm around other animals. This is similar to dog-training for dog shows -I have taught a very playful, energetic Canaan dog who would jump all over the place how to walk calmly and significantly improved in just 3 walks -I have taught a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Poodle Mix the commands “sit” & “lie down” and reinforced positive crate training Breeds I have experience with: Bernadoodle, Shih- Tzu, Labrador retriever, Cairn Terrier, Golden Retriever, Pitbull, Mastiffs, German Shepherd, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Australian Cattle Dog, Canaan, American Bully, Husky, Husky/Golden Retriever mix, Basset hound, pugs, miniature Poodles, Yorkshire Terrier, Havanese, and more! Cat breeds: Siamese mix, American shorthairs, Tabby, Manx, and more!

Shanley took such wonderful care of my little Bodhi while we were away. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and truly treated him with so much love and care. I especially appreciated all the photo updates she sent, which gave me so much peace of mind and made me smile. You can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she watches. Shanley stayed at my house and watched my pittie, Rue, and was fantastic. I could tell from the pictures she sent that Rue loved having her here. She always looked relaxed and happy. Shanley stayed in communication the whole time. She left the house cleaner than when she got here, which was so appreciated. I would absolutely use her to watch Rue again!
Shanley was professional and responsible, warm and kind. She changed her plans in order to best accommodate our pups. We appreciated a plethora of messages and photos while we were away. Definitely will request Shanley again!
