I am very happy with how Shanikki took care of my baby boy 10/10!🥰

Shanikki has watched our dogs three times now, and she’s wonderful! The best review honestly comes from Bowser and Peach themselves—they get so excited as soon as we pull up to her door. They always come home happy, healthy, well cared for, and clearly not missing us too much 😂. It gives us such peace of mind knowing they’re safe, comfortable, and genuinely enjoy being with her. We’ll absolutely continue booking with Shanikki!

Very pleasant and nice person. We came in from Washington state & she saved our trip when my sitter couldnt watch him the first 2 days of our trip due to family emergency. I was able to book Shanikki last minute (1hr & 30 min). House was very clean! Only 2 complaints I would say is never received any updates, status, or pictures of my 11 week old pups stay with her & pups brand new carrier & his play pen was covered and smelled like pee when we picked him up. His next sitter said it was only the outside area peed on which lead us to believe it was peed on by one of Shanikki pets. Maybe marking territory.

I’ve used Shanikki before, and while she is very friendly and was always quick to respond when I reached out, unfortunately, after this most recent stay I don’t feel comfortable using her again. During my dogs’ stay, I did not receive any updates on how they were doing. When I picked them up, both dogs smelled strongly of urine and their fur felt sticky. I had noticed a strong smell on them after a previous stay as well, but at the time I assumed it may have just been from them playing outside or being around other animals. This time, however, the urine smell was very apparent, and the condition of their fur made it much more concerning. Once we got home, both dogs immediately drank a significant amount of water and seemed extremely thirsty. One of my dogs also looked noticeably thinner than when I dropped him off, which made me concerned about whether his eating was being properly monitored, especially since I have two dogs and one will eat the other’s food if they aren’t supervised. I understand that dogs can get dirty and pick up different smells while boarding, and I don’t expect them to come home perfectly clean. However, the strong urine smell, sticky fur, extreme thirst, lack of updates, and noticeable change in one dog’s appearance collectively left me uncomfortable with the level of care they received. She was friendly and responsive whenever I contacted her, which I do appreciate, but when leaving my dogs with someone overnight, I need to feel confident that their eating, water intake, cleanliness, and individual needs are being closely monitored. Unfortunately, after having concerns following more than one stay, I won’t be booking with her again.

Couldn’t ask for better, communicative, respectful, kind, highly recommend Shanikki to anyone
