Love, care, and safety for family!
I have been lucky to have experience with multiple breeds of animals almost all my life! I have been able to work at a vet office where I learned from vets and vet techs how to strengthen interactions and relationships with pets. I have been able to dog sit overnight with puppies, and large dogs including German Shepherds multiple times, as well as help raise 4 litters or new born puppies.

I have two dogs that I take care of who are friendly and love having company. They are both trained as an inside and outside dog. I have a fenced front yard, as well as a fenced back yard to ensure the safety of them playing and going potty. I also have a dog run in my back yard for dogs staying at my home. For dogs that I take care of at the pet’s home, I am adaptable to what rules, schedules, and routines they follow daily.

Shanika was, by far, the best dog sitter we have had on this service. We’ve had very poor experiences recently with rover and were near giving up finding someone we could trust to watch our 2 dogs at our house. Shanika was our saving grace. Will be booking her again!! She sent so many updates and videos of the dogs which we love! If you have been struggling with other dog sitters on Rover, Shanika is your answer. Truly!!
First time using Rover and I for sure got the best dog sitter. It was my first time leaving my puppy and I couldn’t have been more relaxed. Shanika did a fabulous job keeping me updated. She even kept his schedule which can be a little high maintenance! 10/10 recommend!

Schedule
At this time I am going to school part-time and looking for my next goal. I am available nights, and weekends, as well as weekdays. Of course my schedule might change depending on what I have to do, but I will ensure my availability is always up to date.
