Had a fairly last minute need for a kitty sitter and Shaniese was available and able to come! Things come up and it's nice to be able to have someone nearby!
Shaniese was very polite, but I am extremely disappointed with the care and attention our dogs received during her two night stay in our home. When we met Shaniese for our meet and greet, I was very clear and repeated several times that our four month old puppy could not be crated and left alone for more than 2-3 hours/day max. She understood and reassured me that she would be able to work from our house. On Tuesday (the day before we left) Shaniese reached out and let us know that she would be in and out on Thursday for work but once again reassured us she would not leave the dogs alone for long periods of time. Although hesitant, we understand things come up and said that was fine as long as they weren’t left alone for an extended time. On Thursday after reviewing our doorbell camera, we discovered she left our dogs in the house (with our four month old puppy crated the entire time) for 6 hours straight. I reached out to her immediately and let her know he could not be in there that long and would send a neighbor over to let him out if she was going to be much longer. She arrived back at the house about 30-45 mins after that. When we arrived home today, we found that our puppy had chewed a huge piece of our kitchen island corner at some point during the stay. We are not sure when that happened and was never informed of it. Our puppy has never done that before and we believe it is because he was cooped up a lot and not played with and interacted with enough while we were gone. I’m very displeased with Shaniese’s service, especially since I paid extra for puppy care in addition to our adult dog. Would not recommend and will not be using Shaniese again.
Second time we have had shaniese care for our cats (one needing daily insulin injection). Very nice not having to worry about our babies being cared for while away. Great communication
We loved having Shaniese stop in to care for our kitties . We have a diabetic cat that needs daily insulin and She gave us peace of mind while away. We are already planning to use her again in the future !
She provides excellent service!
